When I thought about doing a gender reveal, I wanted to share this special moment only with my close family and make it truly unique. After much thought and brainstorming, I finally thought about the bracelets idea, something that would last forever. I also requested that the number 143 be engraved on the other side of the bracelets.

The number 143 holds deep meaning for us. The first time we visited the OB, she struggled to find the heartbeat, which left us stressed and scared. But finally, we heard it for the first time – her heart was beating at 143 beats per minute. It was an incredibly emotional moment that we will never forget.

No one knows exactly when my cancer started. But one thing I know for sure is that I got pregnant at exactly the right time. Because of my pregnancy, the symptoms began, which led to my diagnosis.

To me, you are my little angel, sent at the perfect moment to save my life at the very last moment.

I hope I’ll be able to finish this reel in another 4 years and 4 months, as a mom of two little ones, while celebrating 5 years cancer-free. 🎗️

When I first got the diagnosis, it felt like a death sentence.
But that didn’t last long.

I pulled myself together and made a decision not a hope, not a wish, but a quiet certainty.
Three things will definitely happen:
1. Lucas and I will grow old together eighty years old, wrinkled, still holding hands, looking at the beautiful family we built.
2. I will be pregnant again. My body will recover, and I will give Cielle a little brother or sister.
3. We’ll travel the world again as a family camera in hand, baby on my hip, heart wide open.

That’s not just the future I want.
That’s the future I know is mine.

I thought I knew how much I loved him. And then I watched him become a father. 🤍

The way he holds her, like she’s the most fragile and precious thing in the world. The way his voice softens when he talks to her. The way he makes her laugh like it’s the best sound he’s ever heard.
