Around this time last year I downloaded a copy of FL studio.

No prior music knowledge.
No understanding of music theory.
No idea what I was doing.

A few months later I got my first microphone, then spent the next few months learning how to mix and record.
One full year later and I've made over a dozen songs with an album on the way.

This past year was about working hard and proving to myself I have what it takes to pursue this seriously, this next year is about proving it to everyone else
