The spirit of Shockwave possessed me and I drew him over a cnty pose ref I found on Pinterest.

Over 7 hours of my life well spent (4 hours were spent watching season one of mlp friendship is magic (after watching transformers prime and transformers animated was kinda mid lowkey)).

I fear I will never be able to draw like this ever again. I have peaked.

Realism project for a class
Used alcohol markers for the base color, colored pencils for details and gel pen for highlights.
This cat is one of a pair that I share with my sister. Makes me think of her even though we’re so far apart at different universities

Secret shockwave (like secret Santa) for Noot Noot on discord (I legit don’t know any of their other socials). This is their oc Navier!
I’m really having fun with the style of rendering. Just really playing with the lighting and textures. If you look at the speedpaint, rendering is the quickest part of my drawing process 💀 90% of what I do is just making outlines by @nomis_encore

Sketchbook posting yaaaay
Been doin a lot of just messing around gluing stuff down. I’ve started looking specifically for cool papers and packaging I can use :D
Great way to make use of traditional art’s versatility. Sorta scrapbooking type stuff

Drawing class drawings :p
First time drawing tfa shockwave! When I first saw his design I was annoyed how it “didn’t look like shockwave” but after watching tfa it fits his character so well 😭. Same with tfp starscream. They don’t really look like their basic designs but the changes fit their personalities so well!
And yeah I just redrew shockwave basic reference pose 💀

this class boring af it’s still going over “what’s a line” like. Gurl. Gimmie somethin hard. I’m putting my normal amt of effort into the assignments but compared to the other students’ stuff it looks like I’m totally going overkill ;_; like I don’t wanna be “that kid” like trying too hard or something but like the bar is very very low 💀. I am in a mostly engineering uni so most students are uh. Not good. At art. They can math great tho!

My counselor was tryna convince me to do more “vent art” basically as a way to release my emotions or something. Bah I already show emotion too much we should have less of that. If I actually try to deal with my emotions I’m not gonna be able to get my homework and studying done 💀. I’m genuinely just tryna put off having idk an episode or something until I finish my degree.
Also yeah I haven’t been getting good sleep. Like I’m tryna sleep but I keep waking up over and over again and can’t get back to sleep past 6am. Anxiety be like.

ITS A SOCIAL COMMENTARY ON TECHNOLOGY ADDICTION
See the guys a prisoner but is also completely infatuated and doesn’t want to leave.
It was a class assignment for a drawing class I’m taking. Supposed to be social commentary but I just made it into an excuse to draw pretty robot and y/n. I forgot that the teacher makes us all share our drawing for the week so I hadda show the entire class 💀 they think I’m a freak now 😩 which like okaaaaaay fair. But still
-
Also robot is non-binary. So is the guy. I don’t made the rules they just are
Actually I do. I forgot to assign them genders when I was drawing them. Not really important to the piece.

Doodles in my notes!
Lowkey drawing is what keeping me going sometime in these classes. Mechanical Engineering is no joke kids. My doodles are some of my favorite drawings. Since they’re mostly unplanned, I have no expectations for them. I’m happy whichever way they turn out! Taking notes digitally so I can erase and transforms does help :p

YAY
Finished my latest transformers commission! Hehe got a little suggestive with it as requested. They just got out of an oil bath hehe
I think I’ve gotta practice with liquid tho lowkey. They aren’t really as “dripping with oil” as they could be 😔

SHOCKWAVE ANIMATION
I would have liked to make the song wave wave but soundwave didn’t really fit the lyrics as the other character. The psychopathic themes really fit shockwave’s vibe haha

All character owners credited in the margins either the character. Had a really good ArtFight year this go around! I always end up doing a ton of experimentation with different mediums and styles. Great way to improve
We got transformer we got furry we got robot we got DnD we got cosplay. All the best oc types except human
