🍊 You dropped this... on the trail.
It might seem harmless, but orange peels don’t disappear overnight.

⛰️ An orange peel can take 6 months to 2 years to fully biodegrade, depending on the climate. In dry or alpine environments, it can take even longer.

🐿️ Food scraps also:
• Attract wildlife to trails
• Change animals’ natural behavior
• Introduce non-native food sources
• Leave the trail looking less wild for the next hiker
