Volunteer - “Have a good rest of your day.”

Pedestrian - “Thank you, you’ve definitely made mine by letting me cross without endangering my life.”

*that’s it. That’s the post by @nomoreghostbikesla

It’s been a while. But it’s time to have a picnic in the park and help people cross the street. We are hosting another guerilla crosswalk in Elysian park near stadium way, you know the one where you have to play frogger to get across the street 😒

Meet for coffee at Aquarela and then a short ride over to the intersection. We’ll be doing a pedestrian and cyclist audit along with crosswalk services from 10am to 1pm. If you are able to join us we can use some extra hands. Bring a bright colored shirt and let’s help people cross the street! by @nomoreghostbikesla

We ride in remembrance of our fellow cyclists who were lost to motor violence.

Always remember that we are allowed to take up space. Pedestrians are allowed to take up space. Please unlearn the motorist in your minds. by @nomoreghostbikesla

Today, we gathered with the families of the victims of a crash that killed three innocent people on Westwood Blvd. Since it bears repeating: these things are not accidents. They are the predictable and preventable consequences of a culture that prioritizes driver convenience over human life.

Hit the link in our bio to sign our petition calling on Mayor Bass and City Council to declare a state of emergency on traffic violence! We need your support to send a message to our leaders that we demand urgency.

During this memorial, drivers honked and flipped us off. There was another car crash that happened just off camera after I finished speaking. Enough is enough. It's time for a change.

If you were at CicLAvia on Westwood just a few weeks ago you know how joyful our streets can be when we put people first. Let's build a better Los Angeles together, in memory of all the lives we've lost. by @nomoreghostbikesla

Save the date. We don’t look forward to this occasion but it is a necessary one. So once again we will be hosting the annual Ride of Silence on Wednesday, May 20. Please come wearing white if you can and join us for a ride of remembrance for our dearly departed who were taken by traffic violence. by @nomoreghostbikesla

The 40 hour work week didn’t come out of thin air. It came from workers fighting for that institution.

Much like bicycle infrastructure and laws regarding mobility and safety didn’t get instituted from thin air. Advocates and activists fought for these things.

Working in this world is political. Bikes are political.

Happy May Day. Happy Bike Month. by @nomoreghostbikesla

Sunset Blvd has the chance to have a protected bike lane! And today is the last day to submit your feedback. Let’s make this corridor more commuter friendly and a vein conducive for all modes of transit!

Link is in our story and you can screenshot scan the QR code on the third slide. Let’s go, everyone! 🦺🚲🚶🚌🚏 by @nomoreghostbikesla

Free Palestine. No war with Iran. Fuck ICE. by @nomoreghostbikesla

It’s almost here. We are eager to see everyone for the upcoming Los Angeles @greatrideofreturn

We will be meeting at Grand Park at 10am and start our brief program at 10:30am. We are slated to rollout at 10:45am after our safety briefing. Our ride will not exceed 10 miles and be a gentle pace through downtown Los Angeles. Signs and banners are encouraged as long as it doesn’t inhibit your ability to operate a bike.

If you are able to support, we encourage everyone to scan the QR code in the second slide and help @gazasunbirds

We’ll see everyone, Sunday. by @nomoreghostbikesla

On Sunday March 29 we invite our comrades and allies to join us in solidarity with @gazasunbirds for our local @greatrideofreturn . We will be hosting a peaceful ride through Downtown Los Angeles to protest and condemn the ongoing Palestinian Genocide as well as the war on Iran.

This will be a community pace ride and we ask those in attendance to participate in good will, with the attitude of safety for each other and not to escalate. This ride is a reclamation of mobility space and a parade of protest, not a riot.

We will be meeting at 10am and rolling at 10:45am

Please support @gazasunbirds and @greatrideofreturn and continue to propel the mission of liberty for Palestine and self determination of Iran. by @nomoreghostbikesla

It is not even March yet and already 290 lives have been lost due to traffic violence in Los Angeles. The tragedy of seeing dual ghost bikes leaves us flabbergasted and at a loss for words.

Regan and Ophelia are lost to us because of a negligent and corrupt system, and motorist entitlement.

If it wasn’t harsh enough living with under a fascist regime who kidnaps our neighbors, and uses our taxes to fund genocide and conduct war abroad, then we still have to deal with civic inequities that pave the way for tragedies like that of Regan and Ophelia.

Thank you @peoplesvisionzero for memorializing them and @streetsareforeveryone for amplifying. May Regan and Ophelia rest in peace and these inequities be remedied. by @nomoreghostbikesla
