Making a comic page is so easy for me compared to making an illustration page. I didn’t realize that the way I see my characters interact with each other is like a movie or an animation where there’s different angles, they’re talking, moving, close-ups, farther shots, etc. etc. and it’s so fun. I love seeing my characters in a comic that it’s become harder to just draw one single drawing. Oh well I’ll learn.

So originally, I had Pigeon and Javon meet Ciro in the theater after she used her abomination magic to make a construct version of Fleur, so she can practice talking to her. Javon and Pigeon sees and goes up to her, talks to her and says they will help Ciro speak to her more. That way they can be on better terms and not be Frenemies.
It ends up backfiring and Fleur thinks that Ciro is just messing with her until they sit down and have a conversation. And realize that the usually smooth and playful Ciro was not messing with Fler. Ciro was just overthinking the hell out of how to actually be a good friend to Fleur after they’ve been Frenemies since their first year/ freshman year of Hexside

After saving Javan from almost getting thrown off a cliff, Pigeon decides to get to know him better by becoming friends with him and writing snail mail to one another. He ends up transferring to Hexside and becomes her classmate
They have my favorite dynamic as best friends comes!

I missed The Owl House and wanted to make some OC’s and I ended up falling in love with them!
They are at the front of my mind and they mean everything to me. This takes place 5 years after the finale, all of the glyphs have been found, and a select amount of humans live, work, and go to school on the Boiling Isles because of the Human Appreciation Society. They are in their last year of Hex Side and will soon go on many adventures with each other but nothing is stopping them from getting to some trouble before they graduate.
From left to right we have Javan Wilcox, the human who wants to be a 1 Man Show, Fleur Crimson, whose family runs a coven who believes in healing from the inside out (physically and mentally), Ciro Moore, a rival to Fleur and whose family runs a literally circus full of warnings from the past, looks into the present, and visions of the future, and Pigeon Versaul, best friend of Javan and wants nothing more than to fly far and soar high and get into some trouble along the way.
I love them to bits and drawing their conversations means everything to me! I can’t wait to draw them some more.
