Our hearts are with everyone affected by the recent earthquake in Venezuela. For those who know about our band ¡MAYDAY!, 2 of our members are Venezuelan. Our producer & drummer @nonms305 still possesses strong ties to the country with a lot of family still residing there. In response to this tragedy, we are launching a fundraising campaign to provide urgently needed relief supplies for those impacted. Every contribution will help purchase and deliver essential items such as clean drinking water, non-perishable food, hygiene products, blankets, medical supplies, and other necessities for families facing unimaginable hardship. No donation is too small—every dollar makes a difference and brings hope to those working to rebuild their lives during these difficult times. With Venezuela in my heart and mind 🇻🇪 These past few days have been quite difficult to digest. The tragedy and impact that this earthquake has had on my country, and home town of La guaira, is unimaginable. It honestly felt weird to perform with all that is going on to the point where I was second guessing whether I should perform. As I was wrestling with these thoughts I looked over to my right and @iisaleonn a fellow Venezuelan, had the flag with her wrapped around her waist during soundcheck. I then proceeded to ask her if she was planning to perform with the flag and that’s when she told me that it would be a good idea to place it on the percussion as we perform. This truly changed my perspective and meaning behind this performance. With a heavy heart and a high sense of pride, It became an opportunity to stand in solidarity with my country. I send out prayers and condolences to all those who have been affected by this travesty. Love you Venezuela. Now and always. by @nonms305
