One last video before sending the prototype back! Really looking forward to jam again with the final product, Major Tom is a great tool for live performances. Here is sequencing the mighty Rossum Assimil8or, another module that I’m loving lately. . . . . . #majortom #eurorack #eurorackmodular #modularsynth #modularmusic #synthpatcher #synthporn #synthfood #rossum #rossumassimil8or #assimil8or #newmodule #newmoduleday #synthfam #synthners #gearporn #gear #synth #synthesizers #synthesizer #sampler taken in Berlin, Germany by @nono_modular

The fine people at @pepenonomodular sent one Major Tom prototipe for me to try. Beside the fantastic design, this module is pretty fun and straightforward. Four track with simple controls , no menu diving and different variations per patternit a this sequencer a performance beast. They are working hard to refine the firmware and hardware, but so far it’ a thumbs up!! In this patch I’m sequencing the @rossumelectro Assimil8or, another new entry that I’m super excited to use. . . . . . #majortom #eurorack #eurorackmodular #modularsynth #modularmusic #synthpatcher #synthporn #synthfood #rossum #rossumassimil8or #assimil8or #newmodule #newmoduleday #synthfam #synthners #gearporn #gear #synth #synthesizers taken in Berlin, Germany by @nono_modular

While Major Tom is created with rhythm in mind, it is an inspiring sequencer to do melodies too. Here I am sequencing 4 tracks of the Assimil8or and jumping to different pattern variation. Love the way you can move into different patterns and create unique combinations, all in a Performative friendly way! . . . . . . #majortom #eurorack #eurorackmodular #modularsynth #modularmusic #synthpatcher #synthporn #synthfood #rossum #rossumassimil8or #assimil8or #newmodule #newmoduleday #synthfam #synthners #gearporn #gear #synth #synthesizers taken in Berlin, Germany by @nono_modular

MAJOR TOM: IN A MINUTE ⏱️ MAJOR TOM Desktop is a 6-track CV/gate sequencer designed for intuitive rhythmic and polyrhythmic patterns. It combines a classic 16-step layout with parallel triplet steps. Its ergonomic design features 3 performance controls and a colored button per track for maximum playability. 🔸 Each track offers independent, on-the-fly control: • Colored Button: selects the active track. • VAR Knob: instantly switches between 10 saved sequence variations. • LAST STEP Knob: changes track length dynamically from 16 to 1 step. • SHIFT Knob: finely delays the individual sequence. 🔺 Program triplets simultaneously with normal steps (located on the outer orbits of the 16-step circle) to instantly create complex, groovy rhythms, tweakable live with the large knob. Once written, you can change the pattern on the fly using the large knob. 🔹 Every step allows independent gate modulation for length, amplitude, and fragmentation, plus a quantized CV.  It is ideal for percussive techniques like ping filters, strike LPGs, and trig resonators. 🔸🔺🔹 @nono_modular 💜 taken in Milan, Italy by @nono_modular
