10 years of continuous sobriety today. That ID pic is a before and after. Just look at the aura shift. I didn’t choose to be sober. I didn’t just one day decide well whoopty doo I guess I’ll stop today. I was in the darkness that substance abuse takes you and I didn’t even know it. I thought i was just having fun. I’ll save the details for those who walk this road with me. In 10 years this is the only hard post about my sobriety. It’s personal + I don’t want to ever give the wrong impression. I choose to post today bc 10 is a true miracle. I post this to normalize being sober even in the world of DJing + entertainment. It’s ok. Everyone who parties doesn’t have a problem, but I did. Underneath all the ways I “partied” was someone in a lot of pain. Sobriety has given me the opportunity to really look at the wounds, the fears, the resentment + the stories. It’s allowed me to face the parts of me I reject + to hold them so tenderly. Abstinence is one thing but the freedom + happiness I feel today isn’t from that. It’s from the willingness to be honest and open minded to do this work. Work that isn’t for the faint of heart. The work of accountability. The work of forgiveness (giving + receiving it). The work of raw dawging life and being able to smile and truly love me + you. This work has healed my lineage in more ways than I know. The wound is the way. Everything I’ve ever went through and overcame has a purpose now bc my story helps so many. I get to share my experience, strength + hope to anyone who is seeking a new experience. I get to be of service through this. My primary purpose is to stay sober + help another person the way people helped me. I am the happiest I’ve ever been. I’ve had a shift in perspective + I have access to power. Real power. No middle man for this connection. I have beautiful relationship with a Power greater than me who is so utterly in love with me. No fee bc God is free. Yesterday, today & tomorrow. I am a miracle. I have fun. I laugh my ass off. I love hard. I let you love me. I have a narrative that gets better everyday. I get finer & more abundant by the year. Sobriety will do that. Hahaha

Tomorrow night @thecandyrain and I are taking over @blindbarber_la for my birthday!!!! Yea I had a cute lil day time park ki but now we’re doing a nightclub celebration because I love to dance. The world is too sus, 2025 already doing the most and trust me when I say I’ve overcome so much adversity in my life that I deserve to celebrate my life as much as possible without shame. I hope I can inspire you to celebrate yourself bc being alive is literally a miracle. Ok, I digress. This is so Pisces coded lol

As perhaps the worst party promoter -which was never the assignment anyway I didn’t choose this promo life i just wanna pick my fave songs to dance to, press buttons and watch people have a good ass time- I’m officially promoting my birthday dance party!!!

This Friday I’m celebrating life, dance, friendship and ALL PISCES babes (come celebrate your Pisces bday here too why not).

I asked one of my favorite djs @thecandyrain to be my guest and if you’ve never been to a party Segundo is playing, just know that it’s about to be fun fun fun dance dance dance pari pari pari.

Happy ✨222✨ day to me! This is exactly what I wanted for my birthday!!! To just have fun with my peeps and laugh /cackle. I’m so Pisces I will joy cry because that’s how deeply I feel. Y’all ever felt so loved it made you cry? I remember when I felt that so deeply atop of sacred valley in Peru. The wind blew and I just KNEW with every cell in my body that I was sooo deeply loved by her. I cried because it was so profound. Nothing is more powerful than the feeling - the knowing - of belonging. To belong to myself, to belong to God.

I had so much fun with the Kero Kero Keroppi piñata, my #1 Sanrio character!!! This was so fun I laughed so hard it hurt. Tbh if I’m not having fun with anything I’m ever doing I don’t want it!! This is easily one of my favorite parties to dj at because the dance floor stays lit.

As someone who grew up in LA proper I love playing niche LA Spanish songs at 1am that everyone knows and goes dumb for 🔥💗✨ come danceeeee
