Noah Ruebeck as “Ensemble”

Noah Ruebeck is pleased as punch to be making his A.C.T. of CT debut! He has performed Off-Broadway in Liz Swados’s Nightclub Cantata and in Upside Down. Also in New York, Noah has been seen in The Bridgerton Experience: The Queen’s Ball and in his own play, Three Siblings. Regionally, he has performed at the Goodspeed Opera House, Barrington Stage Company, Ogunquit Playhouse, Northern Stage, the John W. Engeman Theatre, and many more!

When someone notices me, it’s thrilling. It may be because of how I look, or something funny I’ve done or said, or because I posted on social media and the feed fed it to the masses. It’s intoxicating, because it affirms what my ego so desperately needs to be true: I am special, I’m worth being noticed. If no one sees me, I start to think any ideas of specialness I ever carried were delusions. And that’s where love comes in. Love, which is actually a form of attention (a more patient form perhaps), takes what is special about me and merges it with what is special to you. Suddenly, I’m responding to you responding to me, and it takes me out of myself and into you, and but you are out of yourself and into me, and we follow this circle of happiness until one of us gets distracted by the unholy winds of unimportant things that nevertheless succeed in making me feel like I need more. taken in New York City by @nonoahreally
