« Finding joy, no matter how small, is a type of resistance. It was all we had at times. It was something that couldn’t be taxed, stolen, or deprived »

Little appreciation post for my favorite character and book this year. @msmasoodauthor wrote Reim so beautifully, she felt so real, her struggle wasn’t loud, she was just a girl that was given a big responsibility trying her best not disappoint her father, her people, nor that perfect version of herself that she created. Reim wanted change, but for her change meant breaking, starting over, forgetting everything she once believed in, it meant for her to be vulnerable and to be seen for who she truly is. I loved how, when it came to her character development, the healer was there by her side but she had to figure things out by herself, and stand up for herself.
I can’t wait for book 2 and to see what’s there for Reim, the healer and all the other characters. Review of the first book is in my story highlights. 💚 by @noorsarchiveeee

« It is a love from which we never recover »

Ahh to be able to read this book again like it’s the first time 🥹.One of the most beautiful, heartbreaking books and love stories ever, a book that will definitely make you cry, learn about how the love of your life and the man of your life can be two different things yet, you can’t get mad at the ending.

Definitely read it if you are in the mood to feel butterflies, shed some tears and learn about the beautiful Persian culture. by @noorsarchiveeee

Cute outfit, coffee dates and a lot of books. I guess life isn’t that bad after all 🤎

Read as long as the lemon trees grow for the 3rd time, that’s my review of the book and a proof that it’s worth it by @noorsarchiveeee
