The World's Largest Olympic Distance Triathlon returns on 31 October 2027 🌴

Noosa will once again welcome more than 13,000 athletes, over 20,000 spectators and some of the world's best triathletes for five unforgettable days of racing, entertainment and celebration.

With the 2026 Garmin Noosa Tri fast approaching, we want to give current and future athletes plenty of notice to start planning for 2027.

Ever tried explaining a 40km bike followed by a 10km run at 5:00am to a non-triathlete?

For most of the year, you're the weird one.

Your 2026 #NoosaTri swim start times are now live! 🏊

To support the bike course due to the Doonella Bridge works, we've adjusted the swim start schedule to improve athlete flow and reduce congestion on course. This means some categories, including Team Relay, will start later than in previous years.

With Noosa's October sunshine in mind, we're also boosting athlete support on course with:

💧 An additional run aid station
🚿 An additional shower and spray station
❄️ Additional medics equipped with ice packs along the run course

Whether you're chasing a PB or soaking up the Noosa atmosphere, we're committed to delivering a safe, enjoyable and unforgettable race-day experience.

Normal people count down to Christmas. Triathletes count down to Noosa. 🎄

The airport filled with bike bags. The cafés cloaked in sea of lycra. The running paths filled with shake-out runs and subtle nods of acknowledgement to fellow athletes. Every second conversation you have with a friendly local starts with, "are you here for Noosa Tri?"

For five days, one coastal town becomes completely obsessed with triathlon.

If you've never experienced Garmin Noosa Triathlon, put it on the list. If you have, you already know exactly what we're talking about.
