I'm so happy @poppylop_cos invited me to do this photo shoot with her back for @sacanimeofficial in 2023. I had such a fun time working on Sarah vest and the shirt. Literally living out the childhood dreams. 💖

🧵 For this cosplay it was fairly easy. I used my mother old hair pin and a lace front wig. The best I thrifted but hand painted the swirls. The white shirt was actually apart of my alucard cosplay but re-purposed for this shirt, which I also made. The jeans I already had. So overall a very accessible and comfortable cosplay. 🧵

A mutual of mine (@deserea_q ) was hosting a my hero academia meet up and I saw this material and thought it would be perfect for a Himiko Toga Yakuza au. ✨
.
This character design is a combination of Himiko Toga and inspiration from the 1986 film Yakuza Ladies (original title: Gokudô no onna-tachi), and the 1973 film Female Yakuza Tale: Inquisition and Torture (Yasagure Anego Den: Sōkatsu Rinchi (やさぐれ姐御伝総括リンチ)) ⚔️

I tried to keep this garment as traditional as possible which also includes the construction of the yukata and obi. 🧵

Shot with @noptiplex at Fanime.
