Definitely not how I imagined my summer starting off. Today I received the most dreadful news that I’ve completely torn my ACL. Hearing those words was absolutely devastating and heartbreaking. To work so hard in all 3 sports and feel like everything you worked for is gone now is not a great feeling. I’ve watched so many people that I love go through this hard journey that I never thought something like this would happen to me. Even though right now I’m VERY heartbroken and devastated that this is going to be a long road of recovery, I do know that I’m not walking this battle alone. I have complete faith with God that I will overcome this battle and become even stronger. I really am going to miss playing softball for a while but I’ll still be here supporting all my teammates no matter what and being the best teammate I can be.
