Sweet moments performing the iconic Gioconda Dance of the Hours with @cbcl__leiria as a guest artist in July. Pure privilege to train with the legendary @annarella_roura_sanchez @conservatorio_annarella and to share the stage with such amazing talent. 💛

I am missing already all the charm and magic of Portugal and am counting the days until we meet again. 🇵🇹💛

I am excited to share that in June I received my BA (Hons) Professional Arts Practice (Performing Arts) from Middlesex University in London. 🎓 @middlesexuniversity

As my capstone project, I researched relationships among culture, national ballet training systems and expressive embodiment in professional ballet practice, discovering meaningful connections among cultural context, technical execution and expressive form. Each step of this extensive process was a reminder about how incredibly fortunate I am to have worked with so many remarkable teachers from such diverse backgrounds within the ballet world. I am incredibly grateful to my mentors and teachers Vladimir Djouloukhadze (@vladimir_djouloukhadze ) and Sonia Fajardo (@sonia_fajardoballet ) for contributing to my research, and am especially thankful to Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, @artsballet Artistic Director, Vladimir Issaev (@maestrovladimir ) for his perspectives and for supporting this commitment during my first season as a professional ballet dancer.

A huge thank you to my parents for their constant support and high expectations, and to all my classmates. We did it! 🎓🌟

A special tribute to an unbelievable Program IV with @artsballet!

Such a dream to have …

performed as a soloist in Vladimir Issaev’s US premiere of Polovtsian Dances from the Opera Prince Igor by Alexander Borodin!

danced the polka and the pas de quatre in Vladimir Issaev’s Shostakovich Suites, and

performed the third pas de deux with @andreas_ballet in Yanis Pikieris’ Danzón with music by Arturo Márquez!

I am beyond grateful for the talented and supportive artists who make up our Arts family. Thank you to @maestrovladimir and all the Arts leadership for the priceless opportunities to perform this sensational artform. I was thrilled to be promoted to full company member in January and can’t wait for next season! #artsballettheatreofflorida #norayun #balletlife by @nora.yun_
