Tried to limit my contrast in this one by not going too dark with my values. A bit challenging since my brain wanted more contrast, but I think I could have limited it even more. Still learning. Anyway, I’m so sad there’s no new #whatwedointheshadows today. And who knows when we’ll get season 3? 😢 back to rewatching s2 I guess!

Lil experiment with complimentary colors. Alizarin crimson was too glossy to control like I wanted to. I could work on it more but, uh, I’d rather move on. This scene from the finale was so good though, I’ll probably paint something again down the line.

Will I ever stop painting bcs?? Probably not. Painted one of my favorite scenes from season 5. Just loved the juxtaposition between Kim and Jimmy. This last season... damn!! Don’t do us wrong this year Emmy voters!!! Didn’t mean to make it so detailed but 🤷‍♀️. Took a very long time for Kim but happy with how it came out.

Finally finished this piece from March! Had a few meltdowns (how do professionals make good art consistently??!!!) but glad I was able to push through. Friggin miss bcs. Can’t stop and won’t stop painting Jimmy!

Painted Arthur because Bradley Whitford is a gift, and I have to thank Perfect Harmony for making me realize it. Getting dirty with mud, tomato juice, dancing, and pink hair?? Perfect Harmony & Bradley Whitford is a gift that keeps on giving. Everyone please watch Perfect Harmony on NBC Thur 8:30p right between Superstore and the Good Place. It’s witty, warm, and the whole cast is so so good. Gets better each episode. You can also catch it on nbc site or Hulu. @nbc I need 5 more seasons thanks.

Making a zine about tv shows. So much easier not dealing with color or perfection.

I loved Kim before but she’s absolutely the best this season!! This scene from ep 2 was so so good.
Making this on the other hand was a nightmare!! Drew the angle of the cast wrong and had to redo the arms and ugh. Colors are fucking hard.

Something from a few months back. Is it done? Is it a study? Who knows.
