This show truly was a monster 🧟‍♂️

So so glad I was able to participate in another @concordshows pilot with @musicmountaintheatre Junior resident company. I’m so glad to have this group and immensely grateful for this opportunity!

This show was so incredibly special to me on so many levels. Getting to perform with my best friends, my family, is always the greatest joy. Not only that but the level of talent these people have amazes me every time. Watching this show when I was a kid seeing the iconic @beltingbons and @peppermint247. And seeing my Dad, @jeremykushnier , originate his role was inspiring, so being able to carry on the legacy of this amazing musical was an honor I never dreamt of achieving. I want to give a special thanks to everyone at @musicmountaintheatre for making shows like this possible that not only inspire other people in the community, but make create a space to share art that is relevant and incredibly powerful. I always appreciate the support and encouragement from everyone at the theater and wouldn’t be the person I am today without it. Thank you for letting me sing my face off and after all of our hard work I think it’s safe to say,

This show was truly so special to me. Not only did this cast put in so much work on stage, put the preparation for this show was unlike any I had ever seen. Every single one of my cast members was prepared and present during rehearsals. Not only that, but everyone contributed behind the scenes of this production. From the lights, set, props, music, copious lifts, everyone was an active member of our show. Experiences like this remind me how privileged I am to be apart of a theater like @musicmountaintheatre and in their Junior Resident Company. I have met some of my best friends and the kindest people in this program and would not be who I am today without them.
Playing Tabitha taught me so much about myself. How it is okay to hurt, but it’s how we step forward that counts. How acceptance comes with struggle.
Thank you again to the wonderful people who made this possible @danimarie27 @jennalikesyello @sethepstein1 as well as so many more. Cannot wait to continue performing with this group.
Puss out 🐱
