From the moment I met Brian’s parents, I felt welcomed into a family with a long history of joy and laughter and a deep love for the LORD. Sharon didn’t sign her cards to me as “Sharon”… she wrote “Love, Mom”. To be counted as one of her own meant you were prayed over and so deeply loved.

All week I’ve had this image in my head… Sharon running into the arms of Jesus. Not walking. Not shuffling with her walker… running. Free of pain and able to breathe.

That moment came for Sharon late last night. No more pain or struggling to breathe. Just JOY and running onto the arms of her Savior.

We are hurting here on earth, but what a joy to know her pain is over. Please keep our family in your prayers. by @noragocking

This girl has been dancing since she was in the womb… and I don’t see that ending after this year when she graduates. Dance will always be a part of her life. But I love every chance we get to celebrate her cheer her on.

Have fun out there today, Beffy! We love you! by @noragocking

I have a confession… I knew he was going to propose. I had seen an email. The back and forth of the design of this platinum ring and a diamond mined in Israel. He didn’t know I knew. And to be honest, I wish I hadn’t spoiled the surprise, but still. I knew the care and thought that went into this ring that he couldn’t wait to place on my hand. We all want to be chosen—to be fully known and still want someone to completely love them for who they are and want to share their life with them. That’s what I was getting. I didn’t know all the ways Brian was going to heal my soul 22 years ago… I just knew I wanted a life with him—and it’s been the best life I could have ever imagined.

Senior Sunday (a day late). After a week back at CU and hours of dance practice, my girl got Sunday off and drove to Etown with her friend @berit.Alexandria. Back in 2016, both of these girls desperately wanted to try the Unicorn Frap from Starbucks but it was sold out everywhere. Yesterday, their wish came true so we had to document the moment :). by @noragocking

We have lived in this home for almost 22 years. And in those 22 years, I’ve walked this street and screamed “TWENTY-FIVE” to every person I’ve seen flying down this road. This is a main path for kids walking to school and kids playing on their bikes. And yet, for whatever reason, people like to see how fast they can from 0 to 55 in the short stretch from TKS to Poplar Street.

But today, my friends. Today, I’m honored that our yard was chosen as the home of the new 25 mph speed limit sign. I hope the community sees it as a tribute to the crazy lady who screams “TWENTY-FIVE!!!!!” And waves her hands ✌️🖐️ in the air. Thank you, City of Elizabethtown for choosing this location for the sign—you have no idea how delighted it makes me.
