A Little Respect and Common Courtesy.

Something that's been weighing on me lately as a small business owner.

When someone schedules an appointment with me, I set that time aside specifically for them. I plan my day around it, prepare for their visit, and in some cases turn away other customers because that time is already spoken for.

Then the appointment comes around, and nobody shows up. No phone call, no text, no explanation. Nothing.

I understand that life happens. Plans change, emergencies come up, and sometimes people simply can't make their appointments. I have absolutely no problem with that.

What I do have a problem with is the lack of common courtesy to simply let me know.

Here's what some people don't realize:
When you don't show up, it costs me money.

That appointment represents time I could have given to another customer, work I could have scheduled, and income my business depends on.

As a small business owner, I don't have the luxury of absorbing those losses without consequences.

But beyond the financial side, it's also about respect.

I work hard to respect my customers' time, and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same in return.

I'm not asking anyone to rearrange their life for me. I'm simply asking that if you make a commitment and can't keep it, take a few seconds to communicate.

My time has value, just like yours.

A little respect and common courtesy go a long way.

Force matching sometimes does not do much.

WTF!

I have no clue why?, but I am having difficulty aligning Toyota 4RUNNER.

Caster and camber are on point, but the steering Toe angles will move after a test drive.

Today I aligned this 2020 Toyota 4Runner, 1st attempt steering went one way, brought it back to the shop and aligned it once more, went out for a test drive and now it steers the other way.

After the 3rd attempt, I was puzzled, is a steering rack issue? This 4Runner has 50,000+ miles .

Last week I had another 2021 4Runner with full camping gear, also steering alignment issues.

If your an experienced tech in this field, love to hear your thoughts.

Project Taco complete. Rear leafs are Merca made, along with King Offroad shocks.

Rear leafs are no joke when your swapping them out on your own.

@kingshocks 2.5" Lift kit with @dirtking UCA with lots of caster.

The only part that requires patience is cutting off the main bolt that holds the UCA.

Removing the driver side is a puzzle, but one's you have it into place, its smooth sailing.

Passenger side is a bit easie, because their are less opticals involved.

Up next, Rear suspension overhaul.
