Update: Sold out

The final No.1 Signatures.
For this final edition, the pedals are housed in a black powder-coated enclosure with laser-engraved graphics, created specifically for this run.

Two versions:

Standard:
Original circuit with upgraded 1N34A clipping diodes
Cream knobs

Plus:
Upgraded components and new PCBs
Black knobs

A very small batch of the final Nordvang No.1 Signatures. Once these are gone, the No.1 Signature is officially retired. by @nordvangcustom

No.1 Signature - Plus - Final Edition

For the Plus version I produced new PCBs with a Hi-Fi twist:

• Japanese Amtrans carbon & metal film resistors in the audio path
• Burr-Brown OPA2134 op-amp
• The same upgraded 1N34A germanium clipping options

If it’s the last run…

…it deserved a few refinements.

On the already populated boards, I replaced the original germanium and schottky clipping options with two different pairs of 1N34A germanium diodes:

• ITT 1N34A
• Sylvania 1N34A

Each pair has slightly different clipping thresholds, giving two distinct germanium clipping characters.

The 1N34A is the same type of diode used in the original Klon Centaur, the circuit that inspired the No.1 Signature.

To complete the run, I ordered additional PCBs to bring the total to 10 pedals.

For those boards I made a small Hi-Fi inspired tweak, using:

• Japanese Amtrans carbon & metal film resistors in the audio path
• Burr-Brown OPA2134 op-amp for the output stage by @nordvangcustom

A forgotten stack.

While going through the workshop I stumbled upon a small stack of No.1 Signature PCBs, already populated and tested from the last batch I built back in 2023.

Too many to ignore.
Too good to let go to waste.
But too few for a proper batch.

So instead of shelving them…

I decided to do one final run. by @nordvangcustom
