🌧️ Rain or Shine, We Serve! ♦️

A little rain couldn’t stop our commitment to service! 💪🏾

This morning, the young men of the Norfolk Kappa League, alongside the brothers of the Norfolk (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., braved the rain to volunteer at the Impact VA Food Pantry in Norfolk.

Through service, our Kappa Leaguers are learning that leadership isn’t just about what you say—it’s about showing up, lending a hand, and making a difference in the lives of others. ❤️

The weather may change, but our commitment to serving our community never will!

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Brother Joseph L. Wiggins, a devoted servant of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., whose legacy of leadership, dedication, and commitment to the Bond will continue to inspire generations of Brothers.

Brother Wiggins was a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a Charter Member of The Norfolk State University Chapter, Epsilon Zeta of Kappa Alpha Psi (E). Throughout his distinguished fraternal journey, he faithfully served the Norfolk (VA) Alumni Chapter as Keeper of Records and provided exemplary leadership at the provincial level, as Eastern Province Keeper of Records, Keeper of Exchequer, Director of Organizational Effectiveness, and Program Administration.

His unwavering dedication to our fraternity, his attention to detail, and his commitment to excellence helped strengthen Kappa Alpha Psi at both the chapter and provincial levels. Brother Wiggins leaves behind a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.

We extend our sincere condolences and prayers to his family, friends, and all Brothers whose lives were touched by his service and friendship.

Service in action. 🤝🏾♦️

The Norfolk Kappa League, alongside the Norfolk Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., had the opportunity to serve our community by assisting with the Impact Southside Mobile Pantry in Norfolk.

Our Kappa Leaguers rolled up their sleeves and helped support the distribution of food and resources to local families—putting the values of service, leadership, teamwork, and community responsibility into action.

Experiences like these remind our young men that leadership isn’t only about what you accomplish—it’s also about how you use your time and talents to serve others.

♦️ Developing leaders. Serving our community. Making an impact.
