Recently I attended the Franciacorta festival in LA at Catch restaurant. The Franciacorta appellation is known for its finest sparkling wines of elegance and complexity. It is located in northern Italy in the Lombardy region.

I’m so excited to have just received a new book written by my two favorite Frenchmen, @atfrenchies

The book explores French culture, offers tips on bringing the French lifestyle into your everyday routine, and shares how to enjoy life the Parisian way. It even includes authentic recipes from their mothers!

I can’t wait to dive in and learn “l’art de vivre.”

One thing I love about my job is teaching people about wines from other countries. Italian wines are my favorite. These two new discoveries are fantastic! A Primitivo and a Susumaniello from Puglia. Medium bodied, light fruit, a touch of spice and earthiness and velvety tannins.
If you like Pinot Noir you’ll love these.

It’s not every day you get to meet your favorite influencers, but last night I did just that. In Venice, California, I met half of my favorite European creators (you’re next @lionfieldmusic!) who were being interviewed by the lovely @nazperez. During the event, they shared how they took a leap of faith by moving to the US during Covid and started posting content about being French in the USA, the journey ultimately led them to write their first book, Pardon Our French, which made the New York Times best sellers list. Having followed their journey from the beginning. I am incredibly proud of their huge progress. It was such a pleasure to finally meet and wish them continued success. Much luck to you @atfrenchies! by @normalouise213

Solo date night at the Geffen Playhouse with the one woman show “Am I Roxie?” Written by Roxana Ortega. I literally watched my life unfold in this funny and heart warming story of her experience dealing with her mom with Alzheimer’s in a Latina family. This hit home in so many ways.
