Confidence is built through repetition.

1️⃣
Smile at strangers.
Do it 20 times a day.
Do not look away.
Do not apologize for being seen.
After a week, social fear starts losing control.
After a month, contact feels normal.

2️⃣
Leave the house looking imperfect.
Wear different socks.
Put on a wrinkled shirt.
You may suddenly realize something important.
Most people do not care.
They are busy thinking about themselves.

3️⃣
Record one video every day.
Keep it private.
No editing.
No posting.
After a month, you will notice how you move, speak, and look.
The tension gets weaker.
Your control gets stronger.

4️⃣
Ask simple questions.
“What time is it?”
“How do I get there?”
Ask 10 different people.
Any age.
Any gender.
Your brain slowly learns that contact is not danger.

5️⃣
Do scary things in a series.
Afraid of phone calls?
Make 10 calls.
Afraid to approach people?
Do it 10 times.
The first few may feel terrible.
By the tenth, your brain starts treating it like a normal action.

6️⃣
Sing quietly in public.
Loud enough to hear yourself.
Not to sound good.
To teach your nervous system that being noticed is survivable.
You can be visible without panicking.

Confidence does not appear by itself.
You build it through action.
Every single day.

5 uncomfortable things I did to build my confidence:

1. Talked to strangers everywhere I went

* Grocery stores
* Gas stations
* 7-Eleven
* Clothing stores
* Gym
* Waiting in line
* Started talking to the cart guy on my way out

2. Started conversations for no reason

* Asked someone which cupcakes looked better
* Asked a lady at H&M if my outfit matched
* Made jokes with cashiers
* Complimented random people
* Asked strangers for their opinion

3. Did things alone

* Went to LongHorn and got a steak dinner by myself
* Went shopping alone
* Went to events where I knew nobody
* Stopped waiting for someone to come with me

4. Put myself in situations where I could get rejected

* Talked to girls I found attractive
* Asked people out
* Introduced myself to people at the gym
* Made the first move
* Asked for opportunities even if they could say no

5. Did shit that made me uncomfortable

* Posted myself online knowing people I knew would see it
* Took my AirPods out in public
* Kept my phone in my pocket
* Said what I actually thought
* Let myself look stupid
* Did things before I felt ready

You don’t become confident and then start doing uncomfortable things.

I used to stay in the house for weeks at a time to avoid talking to people. Now I can’t stop networking as an entrepreneur.

Here’s 10 things I stopped when I left shyness behind

1. Looking for help
No one is going to talk to people for you. You are responsible for your own life. Don’t expect handouts

2. Comparing myself to others
I now only compare myself with my past self. The only way you can get better at anything, especially communication, is to beat yourself from yesterday

3. Trying to impress people
No one actually cares about you. They care about themselves. If you want people to like you, talk about them

4. Forcing yourself into draining environments
Stop wasting energy trying to fit into rooms that don’t serve your growth. If a gathering drains you rather than builds you up, protect your time and invest it in something productive instead of chasing superficial validation.

5. Skipping workouts
The gym didn’t just build my body. It built my confidence, mentality, and consistency. Going to the gyn will carry over into how you carry yourself

6. Avoiding people
I used to avoid eye contact with people I knew, so I didn’t have to talk to them. Now I try to start a conversation every time I see someone I know. The more conversations you have, the easier it gets

7. Staying in my room all weekend
Staying in your room is the comfortable thing to do, but comfort kills dreams. Go out and get uncomfortable

8. Only going places with friends
It’s fine to go out with friends, but if you can’t go out alone, do you really have confidence in yourself?

9. Blaming other people
Everything is my fault, never anyone else’s. With this mentality you always have something to improve and no one to blame

10. Ignoring your inner compass
Knowing your true direction and refusing to act on it is a recipe for stagnation. Real transformation happens when you commit fully to your sense of purpose instead of choosing the easy, passive route.
