@noroi_____ , aka Alessandro Díaz Espinoza, es un productor, DJ y diseñador sonoro sudamericano que no para de tirar pa’ todos lados. Lo suyo va desde el perreo más oscuro hasta el garage UK, pasando por movidas más experimentales o hiperpop rarísimo —pero siempre con un rollo bien suyo, bien conectado a sus raíces latinas, al amor que le tiene al sonido de sistema británico y a una obsesión medio mística con los exotismos modernos de Asia.

Lleva más de una década metido de lleno en la escena club del Reino Unido, sobre todo en el drum & bass, firmando como Lynch Kingsley con sellos duros como Hospital Records o Foxy Jangle. Últimamente anda tirando bass pesado y breakbeat con Spheres y Mechatronica.

Ahora mismo se la pasa moviendo frecuencias en Rough Radio con su programa NEWMOON, donde cada sesión se lanza a explorar géneros que no vienen del mundo occidental, con un foco especial en ritmos afro-latinos, sonidos asiáticos rarísimos y las conexiones invisibles entre todos esos mundos. by @noroi_____

My residency for @rough.radio just started 2 weeks ago! Will be there every 1st Thursday of the month for 1 hour with my new show called NEWMOON.

The goal of this new creation of mine is to explore the instrinsic connections in the contemporary world of pop and club music between non-western countries, specifically South America, Asia and Africa. Being a Latino grown up in Italy listening to mostly UK music put me in a unique situation, where the hyper connected real/virtual world we live in shaped my vision to this day. The first episode is dedicated to fast and catchy af Asian Pop. I've always been fascinated how many styles are merged together in genres like J-pop and K-pop, to the point we're seeing even drill, dembow and hyperpop thrown around and gelled together. If you like your DJ sets/mixes with many different styles one reaching into the other, you're in the right place 🔮

Last week I played a very heartfelt 2 hour set for the good friends @rough.radio across all genres that I like. Not only did I play many of my favourite club cuts, but I also selected lots of music that I listen to and actively enjoy outside of digging, which is something that I want to incorporate more and more into my sets. I've always kept the two things separated, but these days they are naturally merging together and working very well in many unexpected ways.

Now for the sappy line: I haven't been feeling great lately, physically and mentally, mostly due to many personal tragedies happening all at once. However, being involved with music has always kept me going, it still is and I'm certain it always will. I'm very grateful for each and everyone that feels connected to what I do and I hope to connect with more and more people. Now I have to find a way to release all of the original music I'm sitting on, because I want to give back something, I promise I will ❤️
