🚨 When something unexpected happens with your pet, having a veterinary team you already know can make a stressful situation a little easier.

At North Bay Animal Hospital, we’re here for more than the visits you plan for. Our team offers urgent veterinary care seven days a week for many illnesses, injuries, and concerns that shouldn’t wait.

Why start with the team you already trust?

🐾 We know your pet. Their medical history, medications, previous test results, and ongoing health concerns can provide valuable context when something suddenly changes.
❤️ We’re a familiar place with familiar faces. That can make an unexpected visit a little easier for some pets.
🔬 Many urgent concerns can be evaluated and treated right here, with our team helping determine what your pet needs next.
🏥 We’re AAHA-accredited and Cat Friendly Certified, reflecting our commitment to high standards of veterinary care and a more comfortable experience for our feline patients.
🤝 There’s continuity in their care. An urgent visit becomes part of the bigger picture of your pet’s health.
🚑 If emergency or specialty care beyond what we can provide is needed, we’ll help guide you to the appropriate next step.

As a locally and independently owned veterinary hospital, North Bay has been caring for Tampa Bay pets for 50 years, and we’re here for the expected and the unexpected. 💙

🐾 Happy National Dog Walker Appreciation Day!

Today we’re celebrating the dedicated dog walkers who keep our pups active, happy, and entertained. Thank you for all you do!

Whether you’re a professional or simply walking your own pup, remember these safety tips:
• Check the pavement temperature before heading out
• Watch for trash, debris, and other items your dog may try to eat
• Avoid letting dogs drink from puddles or standing water
• Keep your dog leashed and aware of your surroundings
• Bring fresh water, especially on warm Tampa days
