Friday race action should be starting soon for NSRW

The 170 kiddos- Brody and Kaelyn will go about 11 am (my best guess) and then Tad will head out on the course about 11:30 am

The 170 course will be 4 laps today and 5 tomorrow. This two day race is very different than all of them leading uup to this and Brody and Kaelyn hope to stay in the lead as they currently lead the points!

Tad is solo in the car today as the 6 lap shortcourse format does not allow for co-driver. Starting today in Nationals points, we will be out front after the 10 lap race ready to earn our spot on the podium Saturday!

NorthShore Raceworks is officially on the ground and ready to battle at The Thunderdome in Hazard, KY for the National Race! ⚡

🗓 Thursday, Oct 17: We rolled into town for the official Parade and Downtown Welcome Party! It was awesome meeting everyone, grabbing great food, and showing off these machines up close. 🏎️🔥

🗓 Friday, Oct 18: Championship Prelims & Feature Races
• Green flag drops bright and early! Full day of intense preliminary heats and feature races as drivers battle for prime position.

🗓 Saturday, Oct 19: Championship Finals & Awards Night
• The final showdown for National glory! 🏆
• Saturday Night: Official Awards Ceremony & community celebration—come crown the champions and celebrate with us!

We’re FINALLY able to attach some parts to the chassis!

Slung under the back of all that Docol is this gorgeous @spidertraxoffroad axle housing!

Trimming out the 4” chromoly housing, John @BalducciEnterprises welded out all the trussing and bracketry, as well as creating those clean brake lines.

Designed by Matt Taylor @amercianstandarddesign, cut and broke by Jacob @OffRoadAnonymous, these pieces all came together to make one great-looking piece that is ready to perform.

Again, designed by @americanstandarddesign, but machined by Jim@ Povoke Engineering
Anodized in a sharp black color, these are works of art!

Made with hardened steel inserts for the shock bolts, fitted with @FKRodEnds, and soon to be finished off with skid plates on the bottom, these are awesome pieces built to withstand the rigors of off road racing.

When you are flying across desert terrain and bouncing off rocks- you hope all your wheels will be on the ground… but just in case you also want to be safe.

The hours of thought that have gone into this build have focused on function and even aesthetics of the car.

Our recent car build has been fun to share and recently we had a giveaway to guess how many hours Cameron from Great Lakes Weld put into burning all of these joints, melting Docol into absolute perfection.... Fitting and welding the interior tubes is officially underway! 🛠️

This step is all about tying the center of the chassis together for maximum rigidity while building out the foundational structural framing for our midplate, custom center console, and interior tins.

Every tube placement in vehicle #906 counts toward structural integrity, driver safety, and seamless interior packaging before we move to final assembly and tins fitment.

Big shoutout to the continuous craftsmanship from Great Lakes Weld and the precision laser-cut Docol tubing and design work from Matt Taylor & Off-Road Anonymous making this layout clean and battle-ready for Ultra4 USA competition! 🔥

The chassis is back home, and the TIG work is pure art! 📸✨

Huge thanks to Cameron Boyd at Great Lakes Weld for putting in the marathon sessions—root and cap passes on all these joints, melting Docol into absolute perfection.

A job like this only goes smoothly when the prep is right, so huge credit to Matt Taylor and Off Road Anonymous for the tight design and precision cuts. Fitment was spot-on.

Up close and personal with @taddowker as he fights through the muddy trails of Area BFE in Moab.

That run was earlier this season. Now Tad heads into Nationals as the 4400 points leader, with the championship on the line in Hazard, Kentucky.
