BLACK FERNS CALL-UP

A huge congratulations to our own Arene Landon-Lane on her call-up to the Black Ferns.

From the Pride to the international stage. A proud moment for Arene, her whānau, her club and Wellington.

Today didn't end with the result we hoped for, but it doesn't diminish what this incredible group of wāhine has achieved this season.

To our @northswomens team, thank you for representing Northern United with pride, passion, and heart every time you pulled on the jersey. The team have inspired our club, our supporters, and the next generation of young girls who now see what is possible.

To Serge Lilo and the entire management team, Dawn Patelesio, Mau Tavita, James Maoate, Joanne Swinton and Nane Lilo, thank you for your leadership, commitment, and unwavering belief in this team. The countless hours behind the scenes, the sacrifices, and the dedication have not gone unnoticed.

This season has presented its share of challenges, including matters beyond the control of the players and management. Through it all, you carried yourselves with dignity, resilience, and mana. That speaks volumes about who you are.

While our finals journey has come to an end, this is far from the end of the story. The future of womens rugby at Norths is bright because of the standards you have set and the legacy you continue to build.
From everyone at Northern United, thank you for your commitment to each other, to the club, and to the jersey. Hold your heads high, you have made us all incredibly proud.
