I bought my first house at 25 thinking it was my forever home.

It was a fixer-upper. My husband and I poured our hearts into it—tasteful updates, things we loved, things we thought would add value. We were settled. We were happy. We were never leaving.

Three years later, we heard from God: “Sell the house.”

We wrestled with it. We did NOT want to do this. But we listened.

We listed it. It sold fast.

And here’s what happened—

We paid off ALL of our student loan debt. Every penny. And we had enough left over for a down payment on our next house.

That’s when everything changed for us.

Wait... our HOME just erased our debt AND funded our next move?

That moment taught me that homes aren’t just places to live—they’re wealth-building tools. That lightbulb moment led to 6 homes (and counting), each one teaching us something new about how to love where you live AND profit when you leave.

How I got into real estate? A bad experience. 🤦‍♀️
I bought my first home at 25. Over the last 13 years, I bought and sold six homes—learning how to build equity, negotiate new construction, and profit when I moved.
But along the way I had an agent disappear on me during a custom build. No communication. No advocacy. That experience lit a fire.
I became a Realtor to do good business with good people—and make sure no one else feels abandoned during the biggest purchase of their life.

Tonight, we’re in a room full of the best in DFW at the 2026 ESPE Awards, hosted by @dfwrealproducers 🥂

In 2012, we bought our first fixer-upper. We poured ourselves into it and made it home, and when we sold, it paid off our student loans. That’s when we learned what the right home can do for a family.

Now in 2026, we’re both honored among the top agents in North Fort Worth: Edson in the Top 250 and Paige in the Top 1,000, out of roughly 15,000 agents.

Seven homes. 14 years. One mission.
Behind every number in that ranking is a family who trusted us with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. That’s what we’re really celebrating tonight.

From Tennessee to Texas, and today every mile is worth it. 🔑🏡

This sweet family bought their first Texas home at Landmark by Hillwood sight unseen from Tennessee. Today they sign at the title company and walk through their own front door in Denton, TX, as homeowners. Theirs was the very first Tri Pointe contract at Landmark.

We’ve walked every step of this road with them. We celebrated the contract at an empty lot. We met face to face for the first time. We wrote scripture on their studs and marked their son’s height in the framing.

Those walls are finished now. But underneath the paint, every verse is still there, and today the family they were written for finally gets to come home. 🤍
