With 11 unique rooms, this hotel is a bucket list destination every season of the year. Incredible architecture, chic decor, and delicious food and drinks, there is no detail that has been missed.

And we’re not the only ones who loved it — the hotel is one of only 16 hotels in the U.S. voted as Travel & Leisure’s 2024 World’s Best!

The Norumbega already has limited availability this summer and early fall, so be sure to book your trip soon, and it’s never too early to start planning for next year. 💕 by @norumbega

We are honored to join only eight other Maine hotels to receive a MICHELIN key 2025. We owe it all to our small team, our community, and our many collaborators.

Long the arbiter of the best fine dining experiences across the globe, the single MICHELIN key designates hotels that offer “a very special stay - a true gem with its own character and personality. It break’s the mold, offers something different, or is simply one of the best of its type. Service always
goes the extra mile and it provides so much more than similarly priced establishments.”

Enjoy the essence of Maine in all of its seasons 🗝️🏰

Last week in Camden—what a special little town we are a part of. A ham egg and cheese from Camden Deli (insanely good), a walk up Chestnut Street, looping back down beautiful Bayview St, and finishing at Camden Harbor on our way back to the Inn. A 3.5-mile morning walk through some of Camden’s prettiest neighborhoods.

Autumn always looks good on the Norumbega and Maine’s Midcoast is showing off her best colors. After one last humid warm blast and a swarm of Asian Lady Beetles 🫪🐞, we’ve cooled off again. The foliage is likely near to peak—and it’s stunningly vibrant.

If you sat me down and said one of T&L’S Best Hotels in the World 3 years in a row was in Maine, I actually WOULD believe you. This little pocket of the world, Camden, Maine, has become one of our favorites places to visit, and staying at the Norumbega made it even more special.

A beautiful afternoon spent at Langlais Art Preserve near Cushing, Maine, just 25-minutes south of Norumbega.

Enjoy a whimsical sculpture walk thru the artful homestead of Maine artist Bernard Langlais, created between 1966-77, and now preserved and maintained by the Georges River Land Trust.

The site includes well-maintained woodland paths through deciduous glades and scenic wetlands, perfect for an easy fall nature hike.
