The Debut of Stefon Diggs’ Furniture Line: SILVIS PACEM

One of the most anticipated moments at Design Miami was the introduction of SILVIS PACEM, the new furniture line by Stefon Diggs. The collection arrived as a quiet act of defiance against noise and chaos. It presented furniture not as objects, but as invitations to restore the self. Each piece was shaped with organic lines, earth inspired textures, and soft curves that created a visual language rooted in nature. More than design, the collection offered a feeling.

I had the pleasure of experiencing one of the standout pieces, a sculptural silver chair that brought an unexpected harmony of strength and comfort. Cool to the touch and visually bold, it aligned my posture with precision and balance. Despite its metallic edge, it felt perfectly suited for the Miami heat and surprisingly grounding in presence.

Stefon’s vision is simple. Create peace in the spaces we live in.

Hey y’all! I’ll be at The Hendrie today from 12–4 PM, and I’d love to see you.

If you haven’t had a chance to experience Beauty in the Mundane, or if you’ve already visited and would like the opportunity to spend more time with the work, this is the perfect chance. Sometimes the photographs reveal something new when we slow down, sit with them, and allow them to take us a little deeper.

I’ll be there to share the stories behind the work and guide you through my journey of stillness, peace, and finding beauty in the everyday.

@thehendriedetroit is proud to present Asia Hamilton's (@photo.sensei ) "Beauty in the Mundane," her 1st solo show!

This is monumental because Asia has been creating beautiful, prolific works of art for over two decades. She was also THE founder of @norwestgallery, a gallery that promoted Black artists from established to "up and coming." Asia's past body of work, and that of those she's elevated, is vast and historical.

"Beauty in the Mundane" is an exhibition of photographic work meant to inspire viewers to slow down and reconsider the extraordinary beauty embedded in everyday environments.

Come see Asia's mesmerizing, prolific "beauty in the mundane" today through August 7th.

🎶✨ The Roots Picnic Weekend was one for the books!

The festival kicked off in a powerful way with unforgettable performances and appearances from icons like Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Brandy, and T.I., along with an incredible lineup of talent throughout the weekend.

From inspiring moments on stage to nonstop music, culture, and community, the energy was unmatched. The vibes were high, the crowd was full of love, and the spirit of togetherness could be felt everywhere.
