army stew is my SSRI thank you 🫡 🥘

longggg overdue visit to @daebakauroraco which is in the same plaza as my other favorite restaurant in Aurora! Momma Song went alllllll in with tteokbokki, crispy Korean fried chicken, and a bubbling pot of army stew (budae-jjigae) loaded with all the savory, spicy, salty goodness you need on a “what is the meaning of life” kind of day 🥲 suchhh an underrated comfort meal!

the food is FANTASTIC of course but the ultimate serotonin boost here is Momma Song herself. just look at her. do you think she would adopt me if I ask very nicely? 🙇🏻‍♀️ I will be back mother!!! 🇰🇷

a lil after-work drink without the hangover 🙂‍↕️

we checked out Alchemist’s Hour at @myboytonybar and tried a few @threespiritdrinks cocktails - the Livener Mule with lime + ginger beer, the floral Social with lemon + honey, and the Nightcap, which is basically their take on a negroni. the Livener was definitely my fav 💜

I rly loveeeee having a drink that felt like a real cocktail without the booze. Three Spirit is non-alc but made with active plants, so you still get that little mood shift 🌱🌀

the best part is your first botanical cocktail is on the house during Alchemist’s Hour, 5–7pm at My Boy Tony, all September! 🍹

the good stuff is coming to Longmont 🍕🍝

I know in Colorado, sometimes it’s hard to find quality pizza - especially for us East Coasters 👀 LUCKILY 13-time world pizza champion Tony Gemignani is expanding his amazing pies across Colorado, and Slice House is coming to Longmont!

I got a sneak peek of the new restaurant and got to taste the menu, and just wowwww. they offer a variety of pizza styles and somehow do them all extremely well - from New York and Detroit to Grandma and Sicilian 🤤

their pasta is also very obviously handmade and the sauce is giving Nonna in the kitchen on a Sunday letting this simmer over the stove for hours 🤌

and let me just say something… the cannoli is absolutely exquisite. I’ve had some of the best cannolis in the world in Sicily, so I know what the heck I’m talking about!!!

just really good food and good vibes up in here, so follow @slicehouselongmont to stay tuned on Longmont’s opening date in early October. you betta not miss it 🫡

I’m soooo happy we have this amazing Southern food option right here in Colorado. every single thing we tried was incredible 🤌 their fried chicken is overnight pickle-brined, hand-breaded and cooked in 100% beef tallow +++ they have rotisserie chicken that’s brined, seasoned, roasted and cut to order. nothing sits around under a heat lamp 🙂‍↔️ everything is made from scratch and prepared fresh to order, including their sides, sauces, dressings and cheddar biscuits!

I really did love everything but my absolute favorites were the blue cheese chicken salad and the banana pudding 🫪 both pretty life-changing and an absolute must-order

the Glendale location also has a full-service drive-thru (which I will 10000% be taking advantage of in the future), daily happy hour + all-day happy hour Sundays and Tuesdays, 12 TVs for game days, and monthly live music!

now giddyup and get your butt over to one of Waldo’s CO locations!!! 🤠

would like to go back on my honeymoon pls

Sicily is the type of place where you can show up ~no plans just vibes~ and have the most magical time ✨ seriously this is one of the few trips where I had ZERO itinerary. we spent most of our time enjoying Taormina (TY White Lotus s2 for the inspo) and our resort @belmondvillasantandrea which by the way is literal heaven on earth ☁️ I could not recommend this more highly as a honeymoon / anniversary destination. the romance is romancing. the food is fooding. the views are viewing. the culture. the amazing people. everything wonderful about Italy in this beautiful little island. I digress.

@foodwinedenver knocked my 🧦 off !!!

seriously one of the best food events I’ve been to! got to try something new from all of my favorite restaurants in the city + then some! I swear I had 100 bites and sips and still didn’t get to try everything lol. this was literal foodie paradise. if you missed out on this one I’m very sad for you BUT there’s always next year 🥲

I have a little deal for you 👀💅

there are so many nail salons in the city to choose from but right in the heart of it all is @glamournailslounge80203 on North Broadway!

I came in for a more natural gel mani and pedi with chrome and the nail technicians were SO helpful in helping me pick out my colors. my pedicure came out especially nice and they took the time to get rid of all the nasties on my feet 😝

I took a little tour and Glamour is actually a huge salon. they offer head spas, lashes, waxing, and they even have a bar serving cocktails, beer and wine. nice touch that I was able enjoyed a crispy DC while being pampered 🥤

the cherry on top is they have free parking right outside!!! which as we know is super convenient for any business on Broadway.

now if you want to try them, just mention NOVA when you visit for 10% off any service! 🩷 now hurry up and make your appointment!!!

dim sum is cheaper than therapy so I mean??

@maskitchen.co is theee spot in Denver for great Chinese food, especially dim sum, handmade dumplings, noodles, and comforting shareable dishes 🥢❤️ and they’re family-owned!

we ordered lots of apps + the xiao long bao (soup dumplings) sampler, signature steamed pork buns, aromatic beef with cumin & cilantro AAAND (my favorite) the Sichuan fish with pickled mustard greens - a comforting, tangy fish soup loaded with mustard greens, cucumber & wood ear mushrooms 🤤

if you’re looking for a deal they have a great happy hour Monday thru Friday from 2:30-6pm 🍻🥟
