Had a couple people ask me if it made any difference to swap to a 3.9 from a 4.1 rear end with my 6 speed. The top video I am going quite a bit faster but shifting at almost the same intervals. My cars power hasn’t changed much between the two but I have gained a slight bit. The 3.9 is far superior for general driveability seemingly without a loss in acceleration. The gears ratio seems much more usable. #miata #roadster #eunos #mx5 #topmiata by @nostalgiahero

Just my opinion of course. Most of these I’ve swapped and returned to oem at some point. My brain tells me to modify because oem is boring, but for these I think oem is peak. #miata #roadster #eunos #mx5 by @nostalgiahero
