🚨 Tim Jacobus Original Painting for Bone Chillers #14 - A Terminal Case of The Uglies 🚨

2026 starting off with another grail from the amazing @timjacobus . Can’t believe I have two of his pieces of original art in my collection. This painting was done in 1996 , and just turned 30 years old!!! So crazy how the colors look like it was done recently.

The cover for the book crops out some AMAZING imagery from Tim such as most of the children faces in the back. Such a scary cover without using any drastic scenes.

The classic Tim tiles on the roof is the chefs kiss and brings it all together , and can’t wait to go crazy with some framing ideas

Thank you @timjacobus again for sharing your art for my collection , it’ll stay here forever!

Still can’t believe I have all these in my collection. I didn’t grow up with money, so each acquisition of this caliber means that much more and 5 year old me would be so proud 🥹

After I purchased my original @timjacobus from the man himself, I canceled my Birthday trip to Puerto Rico to make it to the last Con in FL for 2025. This way I could thank him personally and get some photos before it’s framed forever.

Painting is from the Bone Chiller Series titled “Slime Time”. This painting was the image used for the cover in 1995. Still can’t believe I own this !

This is the final sketch submitted to @scholastic in 1996. This sketch is 30 years old this year ! In my opinion , @marknagataart @maxtoyco most recognizable art work from the Goosebumps series. One of my favorite covers done , can’t thank Mark enough for letting go his official production used artwork for my collection

🚨Original Art for Give Yourself Goosebumps 17🚨

Little Comic Shop of Horrors

The Original painting that was submitted to the Art director @scholastic . Painted in 1996 , this painting turns 30 years old this year! So hard to believe this is legit 30 years old with colors as vibrant as these , @maxtoyco painted this to LAST!

Painted by the amazing @maxtoyco , I can’t believe i own 2 of the original paintings from my favorite series of Goosebumps. Since I was born in the 90s , I was able to experience peak goosebumps for both the OG/GYGB series, with the GYGB books resonating a lot more for me at that age.

I vividly remember reading this book with my brothers and living through the choose your adventure format of these books.

Thank you so much @maxtoyco for sharing your original work with me and can’t wait to share with you guys what else I picked up with this painting 😉 😜

Production Used Give Yourself Goosebumps Cover Sample Trio

All 3 production used cover samples have survived 20+ years and each autographed by the cover illustrator at the time ! Acquiring these 3 took quite some time , and really wanted to get them framed together due to their significance.

Give Yourself Goosebumps is probably my favorite stretch of books as a child , and one of the wild times for cover artists because :

Cover 1- Done by @timjacobus
Cover 2- Done by @maxtoyco @marknagataart
Cover 3 - Done by @craigwhiteillustration

The only series with 3 different cover artists, and each cover art is extremely popular in their own.
