A snapshot from my archives: I was passing by the skatepark just after a perfect Venice Beach Sunset and stumbled upon this moment. I love when the crowd dissipates and the skatepark gets quiet. All that you hear are wheels on concrete as skaters squeeze in their last runs before dark. It’s a comforting sound that takes me back to the skateparks of my youth. ❤️🛹 ☀️

A Hollywood Hills hot rod. I pass her on my walks sometimes. She’s a beauty.

Street Portrait: I love candid shots. Some people call this guy “Uncle” and some call him “Mancois.” Others call him “the cool little guy with the beret and the scarf and the jewelry.” One day I whispered his name as I was passing him on the block and snapped these two shots. He loved them and asked me to send them on to his phone. He was a Franklin Village fixture for years. Now he’s retired and hopefully living a great and happy life. 👨‍🎨

I saw these four walking down the street one day last fall, so I turned my car around and asked if I could take their photo on film. ✨⭐️

Street life in Los Angeles. I wish I had a clearer version of this photo but it’s the best I could do at night, from the side of road in my car. He looked so peaceful that I had to stop and snap a pic.
