yesterday I returned home from 5 weeks of travel in Europe and it also happened to be the 5 year anniversary of Not Bad Hot Stuff 🎂

so what better time than 5 years into it to finally introduce myself?

✶ my name is Anna-Leigh! but a lot of my friends call me AL
✶ I moved to Austin in 2018 for college and have loved it here everyday since : D
✶ I started making the jewelry that became NBHS while I was in school remotely in 2021 and needed to keep my hands busy during Zoom lectures!
✶ I received my Associates in Biology from ACC (ily forever riverbats) and my Bachelors in Psychology from UT Austin🤘
✶ during the day I am the Director of Marketing and Guest Experience at @urbanbettysalon & spend my nights and weekends chainmailling
✶ when i’m not working you can usually find me watching a scary movie, learning how to tattoo, on a walk, hike, or bike, or going for a dip at Deep Eddy
✶ fun fact: the first time I ever made and sold jewelry was when I was 16! my sweet bosses at my after school job @elixir_x_dv8thesalon let me display and sell my work in the reception area :3

It has been a delightful 5 years of connecting with you all online and irl & seeing my art evolve over time (omg my day ones know how vastly differently my work is now from when I started). hugs and kisses to all of you have have been here since the beginning, or only found me yesterday. excited to see what all is to come in the next 5 years 😙 by @notbadhotstuff
