what a time! had an absolute blast (don’t get me wrong i was absolutely in the trenches during the semester but now that the sun is out we are past that), made tons of new friends and played tons of great music! thank you everyone i have shared a stage/venue with in the last year, i have grown and learned a lot from each and every one of you and look forward to continuing that path this fall. for now, time to be outside ☀️☀️ by @notbailey429

Wow! The craziest semester I’ve ever had is finally over! I had a few firsts—first recital, first jazz lab, first vocal jazz ensemble, to name a few—but most of the work was about doing something I already knew how to do, but better. I met so many new people through exploring myself and what types of music actually interest and inspire me, and I’m glad I took those risks cause they gave me the most growth in return. Shoutout to all the folks who were patient with me as I was learning, especially those in the Latin with me and those that played on my recital, those guys are goated fr.

Aside from school, I watched so much live music! My goal this semester was to seek musical experiences outside of school as much as I could, and as a result I went to 6 concerts and a few rubber gloves shows, one of which I played at! So grateful to be where I am now in my journey and super excited to continue growing over the summer and next year.

It’s been a busy semester! Still much more to come! So thankful for the people in my life who help me grow into myself more each day. Progress is hard and the support really helps me get through. 2 months until my first summer home since 2021! Woot!

1. Odie Leigh concert 2/27 (again because I love her)
2. Me and Ryan post-recital (I love him so much he literally the best)
3-7. Views in Amsterdam
8-12. Rijksmuseum
13-15. Concertgebouw (and Bill Laurence and Michael League!)
16-17. Rembrandt’s personal art collection

Not Pictured — Me playing with the Latin Jazz Lab and the Jazz Singers, which has been so fun and rewarding this semester no matter the challenges I face in such an unfamiliar territory. Will hopefully have more to share after performance season in a few weeks! by @notbailey429

Incredible concert with incredible people! I absolutely adored Odie Leigh’s stage presence and had a blast watching live music for a few hours. Go support small artists it’s the best! by @notbailey429

I miss this group of people everyday, but the further away it gets the closer I am to creating a new set of memories to keep with me forever. >”<

Blarney Castle + Poison Garden + Flower Garden + Stump Garden + the mansion the property + me and ben struggling to take things seriously

My last post was stuff from our adventures on saturday and sunday morning, and these photos are from sunday evening (I think, the days kinda blend together). The food and service here is so good! The people are so kind and it’s honestly hilarious how much they love seeing Americans party. More pictures to come later! taken in Blarney Castle Ireland by @notbailey429

The Rock of Cashel + some picks from our tour in Cobh

I’ve really enjoyed the Ireland trip so far, everything has been really beautiful and the towns themselves are just so full of life. I literally wanna live here for all of my 20’s. taken in Cashel Castle, Ireland by @notbailey429
