VIVA FOREVER

Just over a week ago I got offered to play one of the greatest gigs anyone could hope to play:

KOKO Ldn supporting Lauren Mayberry.

I had never been so unprepared for anything, so naturally I spent the following days rinsing terrible voice memo recordings whilst selling air conditioning units to grumpy builders. Luckily, I slapped everything together and played the best show of my life.

Here are my favs 📸 from @ellisdawg

@eli.ldn is the best boss on earth and is going to absolutely rip every stage in Europe! @greg.hummell is my newest love, but I wish he would open his eyes in pictures more.

Love to everybody involved, I can’t wait to do more. by @notborje

Sound & Performance, layered sounds, manipulated voice, and unconventional rhythms,

______________________________

Hermit Gammon

is a sculptor and performance artist, creating masks and props from papier-mâché and clay, that blur the line between object and organism. In collaboration with BorjeNotBorje, she also constructs live works that are surreal and uncomfortable.

BorjeNotBorje

is a musician and sound artist, who builds environments through layered sounds, manipulated voice, and unconventional rhythms. Together, they produce performances that feel like entering an otherworldly reality, part ritual, part dream.

For a brief moment, a bus stop became an exhibition, where artists, strangers, works, conversations, interruptions, and chance encounters briefly converged before dispersing back into the city.
