I cried three times while writing an article about the impact of EU migration policies on children, based on the stories of people I met in Bulgaria over the past couple of years.

You should read it and let me know what you think. I put a link in my bio.

The stories are not from interviews, but from personal conversations with people I got to know simply as someone who tries to practice solidarity, mutual aid and community self-organization. And as someone whose life is also deeply connected with migration, having grown up as a migrant kid in The West before Bulgaria was even in the EU.

Migration is a natural phenomenon in many species, including the common frog (like the ones in these drawings) and human beings (like those in my article).

I know people don't want to be bummed out by hearing about things like suffering children, but I feel like it's the least we owe them. They don't get the privilege of looking away. by @notdari2

🕊️ Genuinely don't know how anyone thinks they would survive without migrants.
The situation for migrating humans is bad everywhere right now, very much so in Bulgaria, very much thanks to Germany and Austria constantly deporting people this way, which is a result of the EU's bullshit Dublin Agreement.

A few days ago in Sofia a man who had escaped the civil war in Syria was killed by a speeding driver while he was sitting calmly in the bus I take often. He was a doctor, but the state had retracted his permanent residency and he was not allowed to practice (and work) for years.

So I'm just sending a little bit of migrant love out into the world today. 🩵🖤 by @notdari2

🐦🧄Pigeons and garlic. Classic combo.

Did I mention I got hacked? Still recovering from temporarily being a thirst trap account and trying to catch up on my feed now. Thank you for your patience. This tune goes out to danielle_showtimexxx, it was our song 💕

Also I like the coloured version too but I bailed on the background so couldn't put it as the first pic 🥲

The Rivers are for Everyone - my submission to an open call on the theme of "Rivers of the Past". My poster didn't get selected, unfortunately, but I like it enough to share here :)

My attempt to draw Hedy Lamarr, who in case you don't know, is one badass lady. Slide for colored version (I don't know if I like it hah)

She was ethnically Jewish (also Austrian!), a domestic abuse survivor who escaped from her nаzi-collaborating warmonger husband to become a celebrated Hollywood movie star and in the meantime (literally, like while on set) co-invented the technology which WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth are all based on, inspired by her desire to defeat the nаzis in WWII. ✨ by @notdari2
