POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Had such a blast yesterday filming with @iamjohnteague @lau_mengoni and @tpthedp at @24atlstudios. It was such a privilege working with these extremely talanted individuals. I cannot wait to see how this pilot episode comes out! 👀 I used #unrealengine5 to make this liminal space come to life. This has been a great milestone for my unreal engine journey. See below for some insight in to what I did! 🧠
---------------------

I had limited time to create a shelf and tvs that looked similar to the ones we were using on set. We wanted to make sure those virtual screens had a flicker as well. While it wasn't the most ideal situation, I was proud to be able to rely on my blueprint skills to create a script that duplicated the shelves, randomized the tvs on them, and added flicker randomly to some of them.

The pieces of the shelf model was resourced from the quixel bridge library and merged into one static mesh that I then recolored to match ours and instanced. The tvs were found on the epic games store. The TV flicker was a material I made using the "per instance random" node and the "panner" nodes to make sure they didn't all flicker at the same rate.

The widget you see in the 3rd image is from the widget myself and @henrysamuelheld made to allow us to easily make changes with the wall up in real time.

Director of Photography 🎥 @notedk

Anamnesis was our first time working together in this capacity, but not the first time crossing paths. We originally met back in 2021 when I was in front of the camera on a short film, and he worked as 1st AC 😎 I was so grateful to have reconnected with him through friends and that all the stars aligned ✨

Kenny joined the project just weeks before production and was quick to understand the visual language, align with the tone, and consistently brought thoughtful ideas to the table. He's a team-oriented human, with no ego, just there to make it better.

Thank you, Kenny, for being a part of this journey with me. Would work together again in a heartbeat. taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @notedk

Some of my favorite Virtual Production BTS from 2023. Excited to do more in 2024! Looking for projects that push the limits of the technology. I was happy to be able to use my knowledge of coding on each of these projects. Bring on your unreal projects, for film or otherwise!

As some of you know I just got back from traveling through France and part of Germany. This was such an incredible trip. There's was so much to see and, thanks to my incredible my mom, I got a chance to experience the some of the most unbelievable places, eat delicious foods, and share the experience with people I love.

First I'm starting with my favorite place that I saw, Mont Saint-Michel. This castle actually currently has about 20 or so residents still living in it. It is a castle that sometimes has tides too high to enter or leave and was meant as more of a sanctuary for religious pilgrimages back in the day.

It is the first castle I've seen in person and it's actually unreal. Just the scale alone was something to behold. Just a short walk from the hotel we stayed at was a dam from where I took the first picture. After that I just sat there for maybe an hour just admiring it.

Stayed tuned for more! I'll keep posting over these coming weeks! taken in Mont Saint-Michel by @notedk

"BABY come quick!!! The galactic anomaly is starting!!!"

My journey in Virtual Production continues! This is still baby steps, but progress is progress. Everything you see was made in Unreal Engine. No outside editing was used. Hoping to get to do more stuff like this in 2023!

@henrysamuelheld and I set out to create something random and crazy and this was the result!
