Too curious to fit in one box. Forever chasing the things that won’t leave me alone. by @notesfromcmh

Anyway, back to my emails. by @notesfromcmh

For years, whoever owned the first click owned the customer. Amazon built its whole model on that: the search, the recommendation, ads, the checkout, and the data on what you’ll want next.

But now agents move the first click. As more people start with an LLM instead of a search bar or an app, the agent becomes the front door and the store risks becoming the warehouse behind it. That’s why more tech companies are drawing lines around who gets to talk to their customers.

Blocking Muse isn’t really about one agent. It’s about who keeps the whole customer journey.

And it won’t stop just there. Payments are already having the same conversation: whoever owns the agent could end up owning the card relationship too. And what does that actually mean?

Stay tuned for a bit more on that. by @notesfromcmh

Self-contradictory beings, mastering the art of finding pleasure in suffering, all in the pursuit of purpose. by @notesfromcmh

A number isn’t good or bad until you know how to read it. I may Testing, iterating and improving, using myself as a guinea pig. by @notesfromcmh

So many of the best things in my life happened because I kept saying yes by @notesfromcmh

Consistency matters. But consistency alone doesn’t guarantee growth.

I’ve spent years working in marketing, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that doing something repeatedly doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing it right.

You can post every day, launch campaign after campaign, follow every piece of advice on the internet, and still wonder why nothing is working.

Most of the time the problem isn’t how often you’re doing something. It’s what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and whether you’re learning anything along the way.

Consistency without experimentation, analysis, and a willingness to change direction is just repetition. by @notesfromcmh

AI can give you a thousand new options. Some things need to stay with you. by @notesfromcmh

You can’t ask people to give up their craft or the things that set their soul on fire. The conversation shouldn’t be about that.

Both creators, @mariah_mpls and @itsmegkilgore , are targeting completely different audiences while focusing on the things that matter to them.

AI should be a tool that improves your work in ways that would’ve seemed impossible or out of reach before, by taking on the tasks that would only delay you and keep you stuck. by @notesfromcmh

What if, for a second, you stopped questioning everything and thought about what it could do for you and your future? by @notesfromcmh

I’m still learning the difference between an idea I like and an idea I’m actually willing to work on. The creative process isn’t linear, and sourcing inspiration from your own life is key to building projects that are true to yourself and your beliefs. Both Big Magic by @elizabeth_gilbert_writer and Steal Like an Artist by @austinkleon are great reads on this.

I hope this makes you a little less afraid of sharing your ideas, and a little more ready to act on the ones that are truly yours. If someone you know or you has an idea they keep talking about but haven’t started, maybe send them or save this. by @notesfromcmh
