I hope my little corner of the internet inspires you to get out there and experience the world!! 🌍

It won’t be easy and everyone’s journey looks different but the challenges are what shape you. If you want something badly enough you’ll find a way just don’t give up ✨

You can’t build your dream van without a bit of blood, sweat and tears!! 🤍🚐

I think this is the first time I’ve really shared much of the transformation. I wish I’d taken more photos and videos while I was building it really…

It’s so easy to get caught up in what’s next that you forget how far you’ve actually come. Van build luca was just dreaming about being where I am now!! Looking back through what I do have has made me realise just how worth it it every late night was🌙

I really brought my dream home on wheels to life and its better than I ever could’ve imagined !!🚐

Also how cute is baby Kali!!!!!

Busy lil day, spent hours fiddling with the fan but no luck sadly… headlamp good and any suggestions on how to mount the snowboard rack would be amazing hoping it won’t be too tricky!

It arrived today so very excited about that one :))
Not sure what to do with the fan as it’s so important to have a working one with the dog and cooking etc. we shall see.

Anyways hope you enjoyed stay tuned for what’s next :) by @notesfromluca

Everyone loves to share the dreamy side of vanlife and yes it can be amazing however it’s definitely got its challenges…

1. Yes you get to bring your home to the most beautiful places and never forget anything…
But if that home breaks you can’t live in it in the garage (I’ve asked🤦‍♀️) so you’re essentially homeless until it’s fixed…

2. Yes you can decorate it with pretty things like glass jars…
But if you take a sharp corner or forget something on the countertop it could end in a slight desaster where you spend ages picking glass out your dogs water bowl and carpet.

3. Yes you can stay wherever you want (ish) and don’t have to pay water or waste bills…
But you will have to get used to public toilets (I’m scared of spiders btw) and wild wees (you’ll start to love them after a while just watch out for stingy nettles 🙈)

4. Room for a bed, kitchen, shower, storage…
But parking, garages, bridges they often come with hight, width and length restrictions. You have to find alternative garages do do work on your vehicle, say goodbye to parking garages. Nothing will make you happier than finding a wide space where you can overhang!!

5. You’re always out there in it! “I can fall asleep to the sound of waves…”
But you will also hear the bird on your roof tapping away, the wind swaying you or the storm feeling like it’s going to rip off your skylight, the boy racers revving their engines and blasting music. It’s only a thin bit of metal, insulation, and wood separating you and the outside world…

6. You can travel some BEAUTIFUL roads and vising amazing places
But the fuel in a bigger vehicle is gonna cost ya! Thinking about investing in a little scooter or electric bike maybe 🤷‍♀️ only issue is hard to take the dog on those 😂

And that’s just to name a few faced I could go on 🤣

But with all the challenges this way of life brings I wouldn’t have it any other way! The pros definitely outweigh the cons <3

What’s your biggest challenge living on the road?

Another set of random antics as an unemployed 23 year old with zero routine rn 🤪
Sadly the wavies were a bit too messy especially to make the rhossili steps worth it so checked Horton and no better so came home and made fudge. It was good although I split it and tryed to swirl in cinnamon butter to half which ended up reallllly sickly think it was too much but the other half was nice ✨

Back in Wales for a couple weeks! Feels weird having a different routine every day almost makes you feel unproductive… the rest of the day was spent emptying clothes out the van, deciding what I actually wear, tidying so very sorry that thrilling activity didn’t make the cut 😂

Anyways we (mum and I) are heading off to Malta a week Monday working on the to do list until then with hopefully some other little side quests :)
