Healing is hard; Everyone says that your twenties are the best years of your life, but I would challenge that. Mine have been nothing short of humbling. Lots of lows, memorable highs. More dissociation than lucidity and presence. Growing isn’t supposed to be simple, nor linear. Change is uncomfortable. My cup was half-empty for so long, springing leaks from every side. Pouring into other buckets, expecting it to quench my thirst, but in reality I was dehydrating every ounce of my recognizable self. At 29, I finally feel like I’ve glued my cup back together. It may look a little different than before, but at least I’m drinking from it. Thank you to all who’ve helped me pick up the pieces. 🫶🫶🫶
