Toxcatl celebrations are already over in the mexica calendar, but I finally finished this one. I keep being obsessed over the sacrifices; politic and sacred but overall, violent devotion, extreme love, blood is what makes the world go round.

Mixed media, combining traditional graphite and digital is so satisfying!

Bird of the four hundred voices.

First drawing of the year!!!! Of course, it had to be Ixca. I know I have to practice other types of drawings, but I find so much peace at drawing portraits that I can spend hours making facial details.

I'm still on vacations but while hiking watching so many amazing birds , the idea of this came into my mind, and I had to do it. Decided to do a cenzontle because I assimilate its voice with Ixca's shape-shifting ability and personality.

You get me closer to God ✝️

Well , for a long time I had wanted to draw a THAT shot from Closer's video. I kept experimenting with brushes and textures and I feel this kinda captures the whole essence of The Downward Spiral.

Se lo dedico a @g0tisch_morsch.mxtte616 💋

Dont we all like our characters a little bloody? Anyway, Ixca study? I'm just trying to practice different face angles bc I still suck at them, but this one turned out ok.

Really excited to collaborate once again with @notgothsunshine and @hemoglobine___ on another series of paintings! This time, each of us was inspired by various horror films and television series and coincidentally, as @hemoglobine___ pointed out in our chat, all of our paintings feature doorways…

Hey guys, fun fact this piece was originally for the contest I told you about last week but idk? I was sure about it, I still put a lot on effort on it so that's why I'm sharing it anyways.
Ixca with a little more historic inspired Tezcatlipoca attire.

Hey guys, finished this one way more quickly than expected so here we are. I think im overcoming my artblock and also I like that my other god designs are getting more cohesive with time. Take Metl, Huitzilopochtli's persona.

The song is random maybe but idk why I associate it with him, I feel it's something he would listen to? Viva los fabulosos cadilacs ajua

🌘 𝑻𝒆𝒛𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒐𝒄𝒂, 𝑰𝒄𝒏𝒐𝒉𝒖𝒂𝒉𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒊 🌒

I wasn't sure about entering another category of the contest, but I had been wanting to explore the image of Quetzalcoatl a bit more; the idea of flowers growing from the heart suddenly came to mind, and I felt compelled to incorporate it into this god of abundance and knowledge. I have often seen this deity depicted with light-colored hair based on certain descriptions, but my own interpretation was to give him a youthful face and completely white hair, a visual representation of his wisdom and eternal nature.
In a way this is also a redesign of my Quetzalcoatl oc , Abai, brother of course of my dearest Ixca. Now I'm so much happier with his face! And you are totally seeing more of him around.
