Swipe for sound! 👉🏽

With a lot of excitement, I’m announcing a collaboration with sound artist Yuval Reuven.

For the first time, you’ll be able to hear it around you at Glue Utrecht!

The sound you hear after swiping sounds like the movement of many moths crawling and flying around lamps. If you listen closely, you can also hear the old-school buzzing of fluorescent lights.

Noticed But Not Seen brings moths and fluorescent tube lighting together, allowing them to reinforce one another.

What is often perceived as disturbing or unnoticed is brought into focus here. Through their ensemble, something once seen as negative shifts, revealing an unexpected sense of beauty.

The moths seem to gather around the light and gradually take over the space.

Each moth is handmade, revealing subtle differences and craftsmanship.

The work explores the tension between nature and technology, attraction and unease. by @noticed.but.not.seen

Welcome to this page!

I’m a graduate student from HKU/Product Design who is drawn to the hidden.

My use of materials varies, but they all share a common intention: to bring what is overlooked to life.

I often work with a lot of details and am not afraid to explore what others might avoid in daily life.
By using elements that feel unusual, unnecessary or eerie, I try to challenge perception and invite curiosity.

With my work, i hope the viewer tries to reconsider new perspectives within the unseen. by @noticed.but.not.seen
