something edgy and trendy to look at

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So last weekend I was able to finish my @alisonwonderland tattoo over at @darklettertattoo and @ameliaedwardstattoos honestly blew me away with the piece from the very start. It started with me sending her some album art and saying I liked the remix colors more than the original Blue and Red. It cracks me up because a lot of people who’ve seen it think I got it solely because I throughly enjoy all music AW puts out. While yes that’s true, it’s not the only reason, when this song was teased during the Lollapalooza 2020 livestream and when it was eventually released it was one of those moments that like hits you to your core. I mentally wasn’t in the best place I’d been for a while between my personal life, work life, and just simply trying to be in your mid twenties in the middle of a pandemic. It really spoke and resonated within myself to see what I “loved” around me that was either dragging me down or just simply wasn’t good for my mental health. I’m not perfect but I’ve definitely bettered myself and made sure the people around me better myself as well as trying to be supportive for them. If there’s anything that the last few years has taught me is keep up on your mental health. I really appreciate artists who use their platform for bringing up important issues and I appreciate that. I simply cannot thank Amelia enough for this piece and I can’t wait to get pictures of it all healed up! taken in Morning Star Tattoo by @notjordang

I’ve come to the conclusion that I am incredibly simple. All I need is Music, Outdoors (preferably with water), and my friends.

Some slight reminisce from the last road trip. The Dart never would’ve survived this one and the truck took it like a champ.

Been in the slow season of my life, that’s changing soon with things planned in Oregon, Utah, ID, and Montana sprinkled in the next few months. Instead enjoy the filler material that’s been keeping me sane in between all the madness that we call life.
