It’s taken me a while to write this because his loss hit me like a freight train but we lost my papa on Father’s Day this summer. I still have a hard time putting into words what this man meant to me. He had a gift of making me feel special. He was never loud. He would quietly take moments to say something sweet to me just between us. He was just a good man. On the night he passed me, Brian and mom went down to his dock to watch the sunset and saw a rainbow. Yesterday i was super emotional talking to Hensley about him and read her the rainbow poem. Then last night when I went to help a couple hoodlum teenagers with the golf cart(that’s another story) I saw a rainbow. Just a nudge to let me know he was here.
When he left he took a piece of my heart with him. but I would give him another one if I could ❤️. I will never say goodbye 🌈🌈🌈 by @notoliveme
