I have to be honest, this was a very bold and strong coffee flavor, which is not my preference. I've been trying to make my coffee drinks at home, so with some sweetener, flavored cream, and some frothing - it was better, but still a little too much for me. I prefer a subtle coffee flavor (maybe like a blonde roast) as a vessel to consume my cream and sugar, honestly. But if you like an intense coffee, this might be for you!

I also got to meet THE @thomassanders

He is delightful, if you haven't watched his Vines or YouTube or whatever socials, you should absolutely check him out.

He was at his table so so late, he gave every individual time, patience, and complete attention. Ignore my goofy faces. First is my don't lose your eyeballs 😀 but then he was so funny 😄, and the last photo he said STORY TIME and that was it for me 😆 taken in Dragon Con by @notsoperky

Let me upload the digital file and not the picture of the physical photo with glare.

I was most excited about @jewelstaite . I've loved her since early nickelodeon (Space Cases) and Disney (Fast Forward) but she's so integral to sci-fi and fantasy now! (I did babble incessantly at her for probably 60-120 seconds and I'm sure she thinks I'm a weirdo lol, but she did compliment my nails, made by my kiddo, and completely not visible in this photo... Oops)

Of course the entire cast of Stargate is awesome. We met Corin Nemec last year and binged all of Stargate SG1, now we have to finish Atlantis.

And seeing Richard Dean Anderson (aka original MacGuyver) was cool and their panel afterwards was pretty dang funny.

I could have also gushed over Claudia Black. She seems as fun as she was on the show and has barely aged!

I mean, they're all awesome. Every one of them are great actors and characters! taken in Dragon Con by @notsoperky

My dog, Hermes, went crazy for these Canine Carry Outs Pup O'Lantern cookies. As you can see, he could not keep his paws off them! The streets have a great, soft texture and an adorable pumpkin design. They have me feeling jealous it is not human pumpkin cookie season already. They make the perfect festive reward and we will definitely be stocking up on this for Halloween Trick or Treating!

I think the Zevo Flying Insect Trap is going to be a useful gadget. We do not currently have any coutertop fruits, but we do see little bugs fly in when we let our dog out, so we have it currently plugged in by our back door. It is doing a decent job at catching little bugs, but I read if it is near a window, it can interfere so we might need to move it inward. I just didnt want to plug the large gadget to take up a plug in the kitchen area, perhaps the compact version would be better for us. I like the design, a light attract the bugs, a roll of sticky sheets to capture the bugs, and a shield to keep it from direct eyesight and getting bumped into.

Drove an hour ish away to a Williams Sonoma to see Jessica aka @applesauceandadhd and she was so lovely and even more beautiful in person! I said I was excited to be here and she said something like "you're excited, I'm excited! Everyone says they are, but I think I'm more excited to do this!" which was adorable. And then I looked at my picture and of course scrutinized it, and her husband (also lovely, maybe less beautiful) offered a do-over, he said "if you don't like it, I know some people, I know a guy" 😂 but I just accepted that this is me. Note to future self, buy better photo op clothes lol. taken in Williams Sonoma by @notsoperky

Took the kiddo to #PascoPride2025 and had a great day! It was my first and won't be my last.

Everyone was so nice and so quick to throw out compliments to people passing by 💜

One of my favorite (unphotographed) moments was one of the good ones arguing with a nonsensical person protesting. I could have watched that for the entire 6 hours.

I only wish I could have gotten a #PascoPride T-shirt before they sold out 💔

I did take a lot of promotional stuff, maybe we will attend some events closer in the future! by @notsoperky

I can't believe my only picture of us today has me wearing my sunglasses (wish I knew photoshop)
but I guess that's ok, it hides my probably puffy from crying eyes haha. More pics tomorrow. So proud of my baby 🥺😎🧡🖤 by @notsoperky

I was extremely fortunate enough to not only get the opportunity to see a legend in person, but meet him, speak with him, get his autograph, and have a photo taken.

He was the epitome of hilarious and kindness. He even spoke on my phone to my friend who was unable to go to the show.

It has been 20 years since the world lost him and I think of him often. His jokes still pop in my head all the time.

I wish I could find my old Livejournal post from the day I met him, but at least I was able to hunt down the pictures.

And to leave you with a quote:

"I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later"
