The region of Niagara, Ontario is famous for it’s Niagara Falls and rightly so, both the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls are STUNNING!

However Niagara has so much to offer aside from its famous falls.

Save this reel down for a trip that you’ll neither forget or regret!

🏎️ Niagara Speedway – join 35 other karts on the track for an adrenaline fix! The Speedway at @CliftonHillFun is North America’s largest elevated go-kart track! The elevated track really gives a roller coaster vibe too!

🛁 Spa at Q – this spa and hydrotherapy circuit can be found at the luxurious @124onqueen, a boutique hotel in the heart of the historic Niagara-On-The-Lake. The multi million dollar facility features the only snow room in Canada! Book a night (or two) in 124 On Queen too and dine at @TredwellResto.

🚠 Whirlpool Aero Car – this cable car was originally built in 1916 and is suspended 76m above the class six rapids of the Niagara River. The Aero Car is suspended between two Canadian points, though it crosses the Canadian and American borders four times on a full trip.

🍷 Vineyard Bike Tour – hire a bike and take to the beautiful Niagara countryside. We started by visiting @ReifEstateWinery one of the founding family wineries in the area. For lunch we made our way to @TwoSisters_Vineyard for their Italian inspired menu, overlooking their vineyard and finished with the ‘Greatest Winery Tour’ at @PellerWines (we even went in their ice bar!).

🤪 Zipline to the Falls – @WildPlayElementParks provide an adrenaline filled way to see the Falls, as you glide 670m past the American Falls towards the base of the Canadian Falls.

🚁 Niagara Helicopter - @NiagaraHeli have been providing the highest, most scenic and most exciting sightseeing experience over the falls for over 50 years! Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Antarctica Day celebrates the official day that the Antarctic Treaty was signed by 12 countries. Today the treaty has over 50 member states.

The key objectives of the treaty are:
- Demilitarise Antarctica.
- Prohibit nuclear tests and the disposal of radioactive waste.
- Promote international scientific cooperation.
- Set aside territorial sovereignty disputes.

Interesting Antarctic facts:
- 89 °oC the coldest temperature ever recorded was recorded in 1983.
- There are over 400 subglacial lakes beneath Antarctica’s ice sheets.
- Although covered in ice, Antarctica is classified as a desert due to its extremely low annual precipitation.
- Unlike every other continent, Antarctica has no native human population or permanent residents.
- During the Antarctic winter, some parts experience continuous darkness for up to 6 months.
- Unlike the Arctic, Antarctica has no polar bears. Its iconic wildlife includes penguins, seals, and seabirds, such as skuas and petrels.

POV: You’ve landed on Mars… but you’re actually in Spain! 🔴🪐@nottsnomad 👩‍🚀

Would you believe this landscape is just a 4-hour flight from the UK? ✈️

📍 Calderón Hondo, Fuerteventura 🇪🇸

Forget the golden beaches and turquoise waters for a moment, because parts of Fuerteventura genuinely look like another planet!

With its rusty red volcanic rocks, enormous craters and barren landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see, exploring this Canary Island feels like stepping onto the surface of Mars. 🚀

One of the best places to experience it is Calderón Hondo, an extinct volcano near Lajares in the north of the island.

🥾 You can hike up to the rim of the volcano and look directly into its impressive crater, which is around 70 metres deep!

🌋 The surrounding landscape was shaped by volcanic activity thousands of years ago, creating one of the most surreal places I’ve visited in Europe.

And the best part? You don’t need to travel halfway around the world to experience it.

Would you be brave enough to CANOE 126ft above a river?! 😳🛶

📍 Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, North Wales

This is the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen — the tallest navigable aqueduct in the world, carrying the Llangollen Canal high above the River Dee.

And rather than just walking across it… we canoed across it. 😅

At around 38 metres (126ft) above the valley, the views are incredible — although looking over the side from a canoe definitely gets the heart going! 👀

Built in the early 1800s, the aqueduct is an incredible feat of engineering and today forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We experienced it as part of a guided canoe trip and it’s easily one of the most unique things to do in North Wales.

⚔️ Ever seen a full-size Viking ship rise out of the water? 🤯🔥

This is Les Vikings at Puy du Fou in western France, and it might just be one of the most spectacular live shows in Europe.

One moment you’re watching a peaceful village… the next, a gigantic Viking longship erupts from beneath the lake as warriors charge into battle. The stunts, explosions, fire effects and storytelling are unlike anything I’ve seen at a theme park.

🎢 There are no rollercoasters here. Instead, Puy du Fou is built around award-winning live shows that transport you through history, making it one of the most unique family attractions in France.

Have you ever had a Cock on a Stick? 😅🍭 @nottsnomad

Because if you’re from Nottingham, there’s a good chance you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about…

These hand-pulled toffee lollipops shaped like cockerels are one of the most iconic traditions at Nottingham Goose Fair.

For decades, sweet maker Ray Brooks was the man behind them, running his stall at Goose Fair for more than 70 years before eventually handing over the reins aged 92! 🤯

And apparently, legend has it they started life with the slightly more innocent name “Goose on a Stick”… before becoming the Cock on a Stick we know today. 😂

Cheeky name? Absolutely.

But for generations of Nottingham families, they’re part of Goose Fair — alongside the rides, mushy peas, mint sauce, fairground lights and that unmistakable smell of the fair. 🎡

So the important question…

I previously had the 16 Pro Max (which peaked at 5x zoom), however the iPhone released this week goes to 8x zoom!

I just had to get into Nottingham and try it out! 👀

Sometimes… an entire city feels like it’s from the future! 🤯

Would you believe this is a real place?! This is Chongqing, China, and after dark the city completely transforms. 🇨🇳🌃

Towering skyscrapers light up with huge animated displays, entire buildings become giant LED screens and the famous Hongya Cave glows gold against the skyline. It genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into a cyberpunk movie!

And then there are the DRONES… 🤯

🚁 Thousands of drones take to the sky above Chongqing, creating enormous animated displays that move and transform above the city. Seeing them with the illuminated skyline behind is absolutely incredible.

📸 One of the BEST places to experience Chongqing at night is around Hongya Cave and the riverside, where you can see the brightly lit buildings, bridges and skyscrapers all together.

🌃 Don’t just explore Chongqing during the day. This is a city you NEED to see after dark!

🌊 Wave pools, kids’ splash areas and water activities
⛷️ An indoor ski slope where you can practise skiing whatever the weather
