🦎 Prof. Dr. Axo has it easy. If something goes wrong during one of his experiments and a limb gets lost, it can grow back. The next day, he is basically back in business. We humans do not have that luxury. (Please dont try this at home!) No new arms. No new legs. No dramatic biological reset. But we do age differently. 🩻 Two men can be the same age and still look, move, and function very differently. 🧬 Part of that difference starts inside the cell. Our cells constantly repair, recycle, and renew the machinery that keeps them running. A central part of that system is mitochondrial quality control. ⏭️See on the next slides what makes the difference #longevity #healthyaging #mitochondria #metabolism #biohacking What triggers mitochondrial quality control? ⚡ Energy demand When you exercise, your muscles need more energy. Cells sense that pressure and activate pathways such as AMPK and PGC-1α. 🗑️ Damage control Mitochondria that are no longer working properly can be tagged, separated, and recycled through mitophagy. 🏗️ Rebuild mode At the same time, your cells can build new mitochondrial capacity — known as mitochondrial biogenesis. 🍽️ Less constant fuel Periods of lower energy availability, including fasting or calorie restriction, can also influence mitochondrial recycling signals. But this is not a reason to starve yourself. The goal is not to stress your cells all day. It is the right cycle: challenge → recover → adapt. 🔁 #fitness #health #wellness #longevity #biohacking Staying vital with age is not just about the training stimulus. It is about what the cell does afterward. 😴 "Sure, there are even more extreme regeneration experts out there: 🪼jellyfish that literally age backwards. But considering they lack both a brain and muscles, they’re hardly a benchmark for us." — Prof. Dr. Axo 👨🏻‍🔬🦎 ⚡ Mitohormesis Training creates a manageable stress signal that triggers cellular adaptation. 🗑️ Mitophagy Damaged mitochondria are cleared out to prevent ongoing dysfunction. 🏗️ Mitochondrial biogenesis New, fully functional mitochondria are rebuilt. 🍠 Recovery needs real fuel Total energy and complex, whole-food carbohydrates (not candy) t by @noutricode
Ancient traditions meet modern post-training recovery 🧠⚡ Heavy endurance training demands a lot from your nervous system. For centuries, traditional cultures across Central Asia and the Mediterranean turned to time-tested botanicals to encourage restful evenings, everyday resilience, and mental clarity after strenuous days. In the lab, Prof. Dr. Axo just finalized his botanical blend 🧪✨ (“This turned out great!”): 🏔️ Central Asian Roots: Incorporating resilient mountain plants like Rhodiola Rosea root to support natural balance. 🌿 Mediterranean Heritage: Infusing soothing Mediterranean botanicals like lavender for calm evenings and smooth relaxation. 💥 Harmonious Synergy: Bringing traditional plant knowledge into a modern decompression routine for active lifestyles. Taking conscious control of your recovery starts with respecting your body’s need to downshift. 🌊🔬 #wellness #fitness #health #recovery #biohacking by @noutricode
Remember Morzine? 55km, 65 obstacles, 4000m uphill. That was not just a test for your legs. It is a full-system event. 🏔️Whether it’s a Spartan Ultra, an Ironman, a 100-mile trail, or an unhinged multi-hour sufferfest in the mountains: extreme output fries far more than just muscle tissue. 🧬 "Listen, human. You run 50+ kilometers, scale a mountain, and think your main issue is ‘sore quads’? Cute. As an amphibian who literally regenerates entire spinal cords for fun, let me break it to you: your central nervous system is currently screaming in five different frequencies. A vanilla shake isn’t fixing an overloaded hypothalamus, darling.” — Prof. Dr. Axo 🦎🥼🔬 Muscles demand amino acids, but an overloaded nervous system requires a true bio-chemical reset. 🧠 Ancient cultures cracked this code centuries ago. Your nervous system just clocked overtime after the race. 🧠🔥 Long before synthetic supplements, humans relied on potent plant medicine to conquer extreme terrain and recover at the root. 🌿 Swipe to unlock the 24-hour dual recovery system. ➡️ #sportsnutrition #regeneration #healthylifestyle #performance 07:00 The Harshness of the Silk Road 🐎 Steppe nomads and caravan riders endured brutal cold, endless treks, and high-stress environments. They relied on wild roots to adapt their biology: Rhodiola Rosea: Modulates the hypothalamus and blunts excessive cortisol spikes before the system crashes. 🛡️ Panax Ginseng: Enhances cellular ATP energy and sharpens mental focus without nervous jitters. ⚡ Dandelion Root: Supports metabolic clearance and liver function after relentless physical strain. 🌾 Adaptogenic stress control: From nomadic saddles to modern resilience. 21:00 The Rest of Hellenic Warriors 🏛️ Ancient Greek athletes and Spartan warriors knew real power is forged during sleep. Under the glow of oil lamps, they primed their nervous system: Valerian Root: Stimulates GABA receptors, calming neuronal overactivity to ease the transition into deep rest. 🌙 Lavender & Lime Blossom: Shifts the autonomic nervous system straight into parasympathetic repair mode. 🪻 Sage: Delivers neuro-antioxidant protection overnight, clearing brain fog for by @noutricode
Spartan Ultra World Championship in Morzine. 55 km, 65 obstacles, alpine terrain, 4000m elevation, cold water, pain, decisions and fatigue — that is not just a test for your legs. It is a full-system event. “Humans finish one ultra or triathlon, marathon whatever and immediately ask: Where is my protein shake?” Fair question. Protein, carbs and electrolytes matter. But after a race like Morzine, or any other more than 6h your nervous system has also done overtime. 🧠 Focus under fatigue ⚡ Coordination and muscle activation 🔥 Pain, cold, stress and risk management 🎯 Decisions when your brain would prefer a chair So if you feel exhausted but cannot sleep… If your legs are slowly coming back but your mind is still foggy… If small things suddenly annoy you… Congratulations. You may be wired but tired. ⚡😴 Your neurons are not “broken.” But your system may still be operating as if the race is not over. Prof. Dr. Axo’s recovery prescription: 🌙 Protect sleep 💧 Restore fluids and energy 📵 Reduce stimulation ☕ Stop negotiating with exhaustion through caffeine 🌿 A well-tolerated plant-based evening ritual can be a reasonable tool to help the system wind down Not magic. Not a shortcut. Not a replacement for food, sleep or intelligent training. Muscles need building material. Your nervous system needs recovery conditions and the signal that the race is over. And yes, I can regenerate limbs. But even I would take a recovery week after Morzine. 🦎 #Recovery #running #ocr #enduranceathlete #Sport by @noutricode
🤓🦎🐸 As an expert in resilience and regeneration, Prof. Dr. Axo knows that conquering the Spartan Ultra World Championship in Morzine demands absolute peak performance. Crossing that finish line and reaching the ultimate goal is a testament to true endurance. Massive respect and huge congratulations—well earned! 🏅🔥 #spartan #spartanrace #competition #spartanultra by @noutricode
Evolution vs Isolation: 🌲 vs 🏛️ One builds muscles, the other biology The gym builds muscle and we love a heavy leg press. But does it train your biology? Moving weights on a fixed track misses the ultimate system upgrade. Here is how the load shifts when you step outside: 🟩 1. OUTDOOR / NATURAL LOAD (The Log incline) Multisystemic Stress: Terrain, cold, and wind challenge your entire organism. Joint & Core Stability: An uneven log forces your core, knees, and ankles to constantly microadjust. Full Chain Leg Power: No guided tracks, your entire lower body, including calves, fires together for balance. Dynamic Cardio: Muscle chains work functionally, forcing your cardiovascular system to adapt variably. 🟦 2. STUDIO / MACHINE LOAD (The Leg Press) Isolated Muscle Work: Guided movements bypass your core and ankles. Comfort Zone: Artificial air and fixed temperatures mean zero environmental stress. Mechanical Stimulus: Strengthens target muscles, but leaves systemic resilience unchallenged. 🏆 The Verdict The gym builds the facade, nature builds the foundation. What good is a massive leg press if your joints and nervous system collapse on uneven ground? 🧠 Nervous System: 🏛️ Gym: Repetitive. 🌲 Nature: Stress resilience. Unpredictable stimuli train you to stay calm under real stress. 🔋 Cellular Energy: 🏛️ Gym: Mechanical. 🌲 Nature: Mitochondrial power. Variable loads activate powerhouses much harder. 🔥 Metabolism: 🏛️ Gym: Monotonic. 🌲 Nature: Metabolic flexibility. Cold triggers thermogenesis and brown fat activation. 🌿 Hormones: 🏛️ Gym: Neon lights. 🌲 Nature: Holistic supply. Natural light drops cortisol and fasttracks recovery. The gym has its place for targeted strength. But as a standalone solution? Biologically incomplete. The magic formula is hybrid. Use the studio as a tool, but shift your main focus outside. Find your true strength in alignment with the elements. 🌿⛅⛈️ What percentage of your week is spent training "free range"? #training #fitnessmotivation #HybridTraining #OutdoorTraining #metabolichealth by @noutricode
🌌 Dark matter of nutrition The longevity industry keeps selling you “new” molecules – but most of them have been hiding in plain sight in your food. 🍓 Your tongue knows the truth Think about the last time you tasted wild strawberries in the forest. That dense, intense, almost “electric” flavor and then compare it to the big, watery supermarket strawberries that taste like diluted sugar water. Your nervous system is ancient. It immediately recognises the biochemical richness of stressed, complex plants vs. the flattened profiles of industrial produce. 🔬 What science actually knows Modern plant metabolomics shows that we’ve only identified about 5–10% of all plant molecules. Over 90% remain “phytochemical dark matter”: detectable in spectra, biologically active in the body, but not yet structurally or functionally understood. 💊 Supplements vs. real plants The supplement industry sells you single “hero molecules” spermidine, NMN, Ca‑AKG as “autophagy miracles”, “mitochondria boosters” and “longevity biohacks”. But real plants are a biochemical universe: thousands of known and unknown compounds interacting, many of them formed when the plant faces wind, cold, heat or parasites. 🍅 supermarkets & reality Yes, the average supermarket tomato often has a thinner nutrient and polyphenol profile than a stressed, home‑grown outdoor fruit. But even this tomato is still part of the biochemical universe your biology evolved with and it’s still better than living on capsules alone. Even better: grow your own (balcony, garden, pots) or buy directly from organic farmers whose plants have met real soil and real weather. 🚀 The real frontier of longevity Right now, we optimise the visible 10% of plant chemistry but your health and performance depend on the 90% we haven’t even named yet. Your tongue, gut and nervous system are already sensing that difference. Science is simply catching up. #longevity #nutrition #biohacking #healthyliving #antiaging by @noutricode
🥼🧪 MY LAB REPORT: Why I Make My Treadmill Glow! 💨 You see me here running and sweating like an axolotl near his boiling point! 🔥 Why do I put myself through this? Because a cozy walk might be nice for my view, but my hormones couldn't care less! If you want to activate your inner powers like I do, you need to hit the turbo – and save yourself the cash for expensive testosterone cures or growth supplements! 💸 What is happening in my system right now: 🚀 Thanks to the maximum sprint load, my cells instantly release growth hormones & testosterone – completely free of charge! 🔄 After the sprint, my cellular repair keeps running hot for hours like a nuclear power plant. 🎯 I definitely don't do this daily! I strategically integrate these sprints 1–2 times of 6x30sec a week into my protocol to optimize the stimulus without crashing my system. 🧬 I am not a victim of my genetics, and neither are you! We are in control. This short, intense stimulus is my direct signal to the cells to adapt and upgrade. My Verdict: Walking is a coffee break. Sprints are my biological reset button for maximum power! 💥 Fasten your lab goggles and hit the track! Yours, Prof. Axo. #Sprinting #growth #regeneration #biohacking #longevity by @noutricode
🧬 Your body runs a pharmacy. But your microbiome controls production. Urolithin A is often marketed as a longevity molecule. What's often missed: 👉 It isn't directly in your food 👉 It's produced by specific gut bacteria 🦠 You eat pomegranate, berries, walnuts → ellagitannins 🍓 Your microbes convert them → Urolithin A (if the right strains are present) Think tiny axolotl chemists 🦎 Same raw materials. Different outcomes. ⚡ Why it matters: Linked to mitophagy (mitochondrial quality control) 🔋 Effects depend on your ability to produce it Not everyone has that capacity Same diet. Same supplements. Different biology. 🔬 How do you get these microbes? Feed them fiber-rich whole foods regularly (berries, nuts, pomegranate), and — crucial — keep stress low. These bacteria can be moody like diva axolotls, but honestly? They've earned it. They're producing biological platinum while you sleep 💎 Inputs ≠ outputs Your microbiome decides what actually becomes active. #longevity #microbiome #guthealth #mitochondria #lifestyle by @noutricode
Be honest: Are you training for the beach selfie or for when the world actually burns? 🔥 Big arms look great in the club, but a 20-inch biceps is useless if your heart calls 911 after two flights of stairs. 🚑 Nature hates specialists. If you only build for the mirror, you’re creating a metabolic dead end: Huge engine, tiny fuel tank, and a radiator that explodes the moment you actually have to move. 💨 WHY „EITHER/OR“ LIMITS YOUR BIOLOGY 🧬 ONLY STRENGTH? 🏋️‍♂️ You build a massive chassis with a lawnmower engine. Without a high VO2max, your heart can't fuel the mass. Result: High power, but a stiff, biologically older vascular system. ONLY ENDURANCE? 🏃‍♂️ You have the engine but a fragile frame. Without resistance, you lose bone density and muscle mass (Sarcopenia). You’re an endurance machine that breaks under the first real load. THE HYBRID TURBO: METABOLIC FLEXIBILITY 🏆 This is where the "Fuel Switch" happens: Your system becomes metabolically flexible, switching seamlessly between burning carbs for explosive power and fats for long-term endurance. Specialists get "bonked" or overheat; Hybrids keep going. Single-Mode: Only ~20% mortality risk reduction. The Hybrid Synergy (60/40): 40–45% reduction. 1+1=3. THE NOUTRICODE VERDICT: Don’t be a specialist with an expiration date. Real fitness is System Efficiency. Be more like an Axolotl: Stay young, regrow what breaks, and be a biological miracle. ;) 🧬🦎 #hybridathlete #metabolicflexibility #strengthtraining #cardio #longevity by @noutricode
When "experts" call it parttime starvation, Prof. Dr. Axolotl calls it a biochemical spring cleaning! 🧬💚📝🦎 Intermittent fasting isn't "part-time starvation"—it’s actually a brilliant biochemical house-cleaning! When you skip that heavy breakfast, you flip the Metabolic Switch, moving from burning sugar to burning fat for fuel. It is perfectly fine to skip breakfast, especially if you enjoyed a large, late Mediterranean-style dinner the night before—your body is simply finishing its work! This process, called autophagy, lets your cells recycle and repair themselves. 🧪 NoutriCode: Because science should be as sweet as a biscotti. 🍪☕ #NoutriCode #IntermittentFasting #Biohacking #MetabolicSwitch #autophagy by @noutricode
