DocuChats E60 : NOVAR FLIP
Whether you like him or not, you can’t deny that NOVAR FLIP has raised a few eyebrows, dividing opinions on subject matters that are not always the safest topics to address. However, we wanted to find out more about his story rather than have general discussions on world topics. This is a guy I’ve seen on the circuit for a couple decades and who has done things that many are not aware of, and someone I’ve known since 2001 who I know has a real passion for Hip Hop & podcasting among other things, even if sometimes he rubs people up the wrong way because of differences of opinions and the ability to trigger people. On this occasion however, our focus is his story. Hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed filming and editing it. LIVE NOW!!

I’ve stayed out of politics for a while. Many will remember I co-founded @rizeupuk youth vote campaign during @jeremycorbyn’s general elections. I’ve had reservations about @greenpartyzack and @thegreenparty. But being in this constituency I’ve felt the need to support here. Support from @camdenpeoplesalliance and others helped that decision. I’ve been in talks about starting a new political engagement platform. Hopefully Zack gets in here and we get to connect on it. He’s been saying what we need to hear and using current media in a way I don’t think we’ve seen. If you are in Holborn & St. Pancras constituency then get out and vote today! 🗳️💚 taken in Holborn and St Pancras by @novarflip

I posted this earlier this year. And I said it in a verse that ain’t released yet in the second slide. I’m so glad I shared that snippet for him to hear and gave him his flowers recently. @swaydasafo is one of the most important and door opening UK rappers and artists there has ever been. When I first started rapping we went on Skinnyman’s radio show as F.L.I.P. A week or so later the One Crew that included Sway and Ti2bs and many others went on. We were all a similar age and went on a journey in this music game through the same changes. Sway was the one who really made it and changed the landscape of UK Rap forever. And he was always the man he started as. R.I.P family 🙏🕊️💔 taken in London, United Kingdom by @novarflip

My daughter drove us to the Jay Z show. Mad he brought out The Fugees and talked about them taking him on tour 30 years ago, cos I was at both shows! That was my second concert, after Michael Jackson! ❤️‍🔥 taken in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by @novarflip

Thanks to @skandouz and @djsammyjay for bringing me through on @itchradio to speak on the Thad Boogie tribute I’ve been working on with them. We’ve lost some really talented and great people from our scene in recent years. Don’t take anyone for granted.
